This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

ETA---you're not feeding a lemur and a fennec fox dog and cat food, are you? I'm no expert, but that wouldn't seem like it would work. Don't they have special food, like Lemur Chow?
Nope I don't feed the fennec dog or cat food, I feed him Mazuri feed... I am awaiting my lemur but he will eat Monkey chow amongst other fresh foods Smilie My fennec eats chicken, and other meats too Smilie

With twins since I am heavy to start with I think they want me to gain around 30 lbs or less...i have lost 4 lbs so far because of m/s . I was actually able to eat yesterday since I got the Zofran....I am 7w2d

But was her one child close to the weight of your twins, added together?

At the time he was born, he was the second largest child the hospital had EVER seen. Natural childbirth, as one pain in the middle of the night and her water broke. In less than 2 hours, he was here... GRAVITY.
my kids were 6bs 9 oz and 6 lbs 4oz...

Quote from sbhiggins :
A friend of my sister's gain 100 lbs. EEK! The woman had been anorexic before and was so concerned about the whole weight gain issue that she decided to just eat whatever she wanted. . . .

A friend of mine gained 60 lbs. and her baby was definitely on the large side. It's strange now non-standardized pre-natal care can be on this matter. When my friend told me that she had gained all that weight, she said that they hadn't even been weighing her, and finally she had to bring it up to her doctor who was kind of like Dontknow

Meanwhile, I had to step on the scale first thing at every visit, and my weight was evaluated and loudly discussed among at least two nurses and my midwife each time. I remember one visit, right after I came back from Europe, I had gained more weight than usual and like four people were discussing it. I had to go into the bathroom and cry. Crying2 I'm like, geez, you really want to poke a giant pregnant lady while she's down??? laugh out loud
100 lbs for a single or multiple pregnancy...The first thing we did in every checkup was weight check...I always felt I was not gaining enough since I didnt gain even an ounce in the first trimester...

for those of you that have Wags, hope you got in on the triaminic and OAD deals
I did triaminic 2x before they ran out of stock - then they restocked and stopped the dbl RR's. I did OAD 5x, and decided to not go out yesterday. Tried 3x today - no RR's. I really hate that. It seems like I just get going and they pull the plug. *sigh* I may just have to start doing major Monday shops. Frown No nuts anywhere either -and I realllllyyyy wanted those for DH! Oh well, guess that's the name of the game! Hoping my Garnier q's come in today so that I can get in on that deal.

Gotta get myself to Target too... we need food. LOL.

With both pregnancies I gained around 20lbs but both kiddos were shrimps. Mini was 6lbs 3.5oz and LJ 6lbs 9oz. I was pleasantly surprised to get on the scale the other day and see 2lbs under pre-pregnancy weight. I was about 15lbs overweight pre-pregnancy so I want mama weight gone!

I'm trying something new this week with LJ. When he starts getting sleepy in my arms I'll put him down before he's asleep. It has worked very well for morning and early afternoon naps. I don't dare try it for late afternoon naps as that is his "bewitching" hours. Last night after bath he ate and got sleepy. I put him down next to me (yes, we're co-sleeping/family bed) and his eyes were wide open. Was gonna hand off to DH but he was asleep on the couch. Came back to bed and DH stumbled in and laid down next to baby. Didn't touch him or say anything to him but baby was out in 2 mins. I asked DH when should we move baby to crib at night and he said not yet, LJ needs to sleep next to daddy for a while longer. Awwwwwww, he's a softy!

Sorry, I'm no help. I can't think of any have to have deals. Lots of clearance to look at though.
Any K experts- Do 992s need an item to attach to? For example...Say I have coupon for every item I buy, and then I have some $2 off for using my discover card. Will that work?
Also-anyone know about the price of the cheapest AirWick at K?
I need a new stethoscope and I have no money, K here I come! Smilie

On the weight gain.. I will agree, doc always told me 25-30 pounds was standard.. I always started overweight and so I tried to gain as little as possible by really eating correctly. I don't think the size of the baby is necessarily a justification for more weight gain. For example, just because the baby is big, doesn't mean you had to have gained the most weight. I gained the least with my third pregnancy.. only gained 12 pounds and he weighed 9 pounds 3 oz.. however with the last one, who was the smallest at 7 pounds 7 oz, I gained the most weight. I think my metabolism stopped and I gained just over 50 poundsEEK! Let me say I wasn't eating alot and drinking mostly water! I think my age (37) played a factor as well as my thyroid issues.. I am still trying to get the weight off. Losing weight is so hardFrown

As far as pets go.. thankfully we have none. We had a dog years ago, but it is just too much work. It is all I can do to take care of the kiddosLMAO Now, pet food on the other hand.. that I have! Speaking of the darn pet food.. I have bags of GL dog food in the garage that keep getting torn into. I noticed the other day when hubby left the garage door open the stupid cat from next door was in the garage eating the food.. Now every bag has holes in itMad so aggravating!

meeshecat, DH and I had English bulldogs and raised 2 litters..tough breed , plain ole dumb(brain size smaller than a pea). pups delivered by c-section and I always assisted the vet during surgery- to work on and stimulate the pups. We now have an Australian shep. - wanted a dog with a nose laugh out loud and she is as smart as Lassie-big difference in breeds.

for those of you that have Wags, hope you got in on the triaminic and OAD deals
Awww I think english bullie pups are too cute even though I agree they do not have a brain, they are just ugly dumb dogs LMAO We have bred bull terriers, the target dog and they were just monsters... beautiful yes, tore up everything they could and did not like other dogs, etc. So I decided to let my hubby get a english bulldog... Australian shepards are beautiful!!
