This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

got the counter offer. wtf they raised the price 5,000 from the original asking price to absorb the costs I was asking for. So they really didn't offer anything Annoyed I submitted a last offer. I doubt they will take it. So, I'll keep looking. I really don't care for this process laugh out loud
Teri, how long has the house been on the market?

I'm sorry they countered by raising the price 5K, that bites. If it was meant to be, it will work out...in the meantime, always keep looking.

The 3 I went to look at today were a bust. Frown

On another note, my friends apt had a community garage sale so I took up a spot...Didnt make a lot like you guys but still made $300....Best part I sold all the glade I had...people went crazy for glade refills and candles...And those new glade tins, everyone was ooh aah over that..But I did not sell diapers...And I saw a lot of moms with kids in pull ups. but noone wanted to buy diapers at $5...Not even at $4..Dontknow...
I had a small garage sale this weekend as well and made $475. My customers went nuts for glade as well. Thank you AGAIN glade!! Since the sale was not at my house, I also put up a listing on Craigslist and sold the 8 packs of diapers I brought with and several sample cans of Formula I had. I got a ton of responses to my posting, but sold it to the 1st few who called. (Just wanted to share that tip) Mine went for $6 a pack.

For about a month I think. They've lowered the price several times (a total of 15,000) and had one open house that I know of. I'll be interested to see what they do with this offer. My gut tells me they won't accept it.

The fact that they have lowered the price several times in a month means they want to sell it quickly, BUT it also means they don't want to accept much less than their current asking price (that is until it doesn't sell and they have to lower it again laugh out loud )

Yeah ME TOO!!!!!! I just read a couple of posts on WAGS - I am so behind ... yup more deals to be a missin ...

hug You are always so sweet! I always enjoy reading your posts...so positive!! nod

Did my first Fusion roll at Wags today (just once - I'm lame, I know!). It was fun (especially when the cashier - horrid lady - lectured me about me not going to be able to get my RR's because I used RR's Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)). Did well at the three Wag's I went to. My RR pile just got larger! I intentionally keep my RR pile small so I don't have to worry about rolling them week after week. But, after this week dunno what I'm gonna do! I did see a nice tower fan for $12.xx - 75% off there...may pick that up. Also saw some of those box fans (big ones) for $4.99.

Grr... Sorry it didn't work out as of yet! Hope they'll take your last offer. hug

I usually don't, but the store out at the beach isn't listed on the doubles list (even thought I'm sure they are doing them as well) so I thought I would just head over to that side of town and hit your K. Let me know if there is anything I need to look for or relocate for you for later in the week. laugh out loud

Just dropping in amidst finals week to say:

My mom had a close encounter with a thief!

AP was screaming and chasing him...he ran out of the store, dropped some electronics accidentally out of his bag and leapt into a pick up truck.

I guess she hasn't had anything exciting happen in years; she can't stop talking about how she could have hit him with her bag of papertowels to save the day.

LOL

hug sorry you wasted your time. It's not easy trying to pick out something you can afford, that has as much as you want. It's like you have to sacrifice something no matter what you find. For me, I have to sacrifice a newer home to get closer into town. The property is so much more expensive the closer to the city. I don't like driving on crowded freeways, so I am willing to sacrifice if I have to.

The good news: As I was leaving to take DS to daycare I noticed that our regular paper carrier must not have come yesterday because there were PILES of papers on the steps on every one of our buildings. Needless to say, those sad, abandoned papers have found a loving home... Evillaugh

The bad new: Brought the car in for new break pads walked out spending $490! EEK!

That is very cool! Glad you had a successful sale - and thanks for the tip - if I ever end up with extra diapers I will try Craigslist ... at the moment we go thru a lot with 2 in diapers and 1 in overnights!

It's not as as bad as it could have been. I had $190 in Kmart cards, so we only had to charge $300.
