Target Chit Chat

This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

All you folks who hang out in the Target coupon thread, start hanging out here instead! When you've got something relevant to post about Target coupons, please post about it in the Target coupon thread! We'd love to hear about it, but NOT about your dog, your cat, your mom, your genital herpes, your... well, you get the idea.

Go to Target.

Take your Staycation DVD coupons @ $2 each.

Buy two Staycation movies @ $5 each. Make sure they have movie peelie tickets on the front.

Use aforementioned Staycation DVD coupons.

Get two $5 movies (I got Jumanji and Pink Panther) and two $7.50 movie tickets (Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs) for a grand total of... $6.

You just made money.

What is the cheapest magic eraser that you have found? Any word on the Hasbro tq?? I'm itching to do a Target trip tonight!

I haven't bought any erasers in quite awhile.. I still have quite a stockpile from the last bogo qWink but it seems like they were around 2-2.29 range, although then I found some clearanced for 1.79. Funny thing is what people will pay for these. I had no problem selling a ton of them at my garage sale for 1.50 each.

I haven't seen any confirmation about the hasbro q, but I would expect it to beep today. Saw someone in deals mention it beeped last night, but I am positive it did not beep for me. Used it multiple timesBig Grin

Random question. . .I think I remember that some people here can fruit/veggies, etc. A neighbor was nice enough to give us two jars of homemade grape jelly. We finished one and are working on the second. Should I wash and return the jars/lids? That is, would she want them back? Or should I just dispose of them?

Thx. Smilie

Any one have an idea why all those people like poker?? I am still learning how to enjoy dealing the carnival versions and I am still thinking why do they like this. I more I am dealing them I am learning that it is kinda fun to play poker.
I think there are a few answers. Some folks are plain old addicted to gambling and like the thrill. Others are hoping for the big payout without having to work for it (kind of like lottery players). And then there are those who enjoy the challenge and find that the game is an interesting combination of skill and providence.

Just a friendly reminder to replenish your kool aid stockpiles. The holidays are right around the corner and the deals thread is gonna get ugly.

The. End.

I wanted to get some of those q's... I wish I hadn't spent all my q money so early in the month!!

Not much to report. I did return a couple toys from my failed T run, and it went smoothly. I feel a bit better, and a whole lot wiser. I need to run out to ST to get the refund on the extra scanned ribs - I called and they said just bring in the receipt and all will be fixed - so I"m pleased with that.

I did take the opportunity to use some more RR's at Wags. I wish I was blessed enough to have one that would roll into a gc - but it's a definite no-go here. *sigh*

Yep, at least the jars and bands. The little top flat part is disposable but the other parts are recycled each year Smilie
