Target(TGT Quote [thestreet.com]) announced Wednesday that it will lower prices on toys by as much as 50%, in advance of the holidays. The news follows Wal-Mart Stores'(WMT Quote [thestreet.com]) announcement last week that it will offer 100 toys for $10 during the holiday season. Last year, the company only offered 10 toys at this price range.

Privately held Toys 'R' Us is also gearing up for the holidays by hiring more than 30,000 seasonal workers and opening temporary pop-up stores."

I'm going to enter my son. Haven't gotten around to it yet. You have until 10/22. I have to take some updated pictures first. Too bad you can't use portrait studio pictures, because those are always super sweet.

Oh! Forgot to mention... For the Horizon coupon loving person (cannot remember who it is, sorry!), I found some $.55 peelies on the 3 packs of the Horizon milk on the shelf (not cold) at Publix today. HTH!

Oooh, good luck!! I just registered and am now trying to find some good pics to submit. I think we can submit up to 5 photos and the photos need to be from the past three months. I have some from about a month ago that came out pretty good.
