My SIL is 39w3d preggo with her 1st. She has many health conditions including diabetes and high blood pressure. Her DR wanted to induce her @ 39w exactly but the hospital was backed up. Last night she was having contractions and went in, although the baby is down super low, they can feel her head, she was just over 2cm. They sent her home because they had nowhere to put her, they even told her this. All day today she has been calling labor and deliver every 2 hrs. They told her to wait no room...WTF!
Finally @ 3PM they sent her to her DR clinic to be monitored. When she got there her BP was skyhigh and she has blood and protein leaking in her urine. Her told l&d they must admit her. Still waiting on word as to what is going on...

I have never matched them before, but this was too cute and I was soo surprised when my older dd said yes. I like it bc they can both be apart and still look cute. Also, the tween costume doesn't look as skanky as the picture makes it (thank heaven! Wink).

Went to Kohls after my appt, I'm wearing a cute sundress, I totally PEED DOWN MY LEG in the middle of the store in a coughing fit! I was horrified EEK! ...I mean I pee my pants all the time but at least then it is somewhat contained laugh out loud

Those costumes are so cute!!!! DS is going as a penguin and I actually found a newborn sized penguin costume in case the baby comes early. Next year I've already decided I'm sending DS as Peter Pan and DD as Tinkerbell.

OMG I hate hearing stories like that - I hope her OB is over there raising heck to get her admitted. There may be "no room at the inn" but that doesn't mean that they can pretend that she doesn't need to be admitted. GL and I hope everything goes well!!!

Yeah...I was actually surprised they had the plush Scooby Doo costume I wanted for DS.

So both boys have fevers now and oldest DS has a cough. DH is acting all Annoyed that I want to have them checked out at the Dr. and told me that I need to take a day off from my brand spanking new job (while he is not working) to take them b/c he doesn't think they need to go! It all depends on how they are tomorrow but wtf is his issue? Oldest DS needs a flu shot anyways.

I was just razzin' ya. But my DH still will not have access to my accounts Teehee

DH is getting a heaping helping of cranky LJ. He asked me if I did a few things on my to do list. I could answer yes to most of them but a few didn't get done. He is now getting an understanding as to why I didn't get anything done. He thought he was so good getting the baby settled (took over 15 mins) then down in his crib...that lasted maybe 5 mins...like I've been dealing with all freaking day.

Ummm - guys are like that I think!!! I am sorry!!! I hope that your kiddos are ok! Sending HUGS!

My oldest daughter went to the doc today cause she is still sick and the doc said H1N1 for her - which prob means that all the younger kiddos who are sick as dogs at the moment have it too. Ah well - this too shall pass!

Ariel & Mama2C - CUTE costumes!!! I haven't gotten that far as my ds wants to be Sonic (which means making a costume I can't find one) and so far I haven't even been able to find a sweatshirt & sweatpants made of that royal bright blue ... this will be one of those impossible costumes. SIGH lol

BFShop - Wow I can't believe that it is almost time already --- Oct 19th that is super cool! I know that you were worried you might not make it to that date (for y'all dual B-day) ... I am rooting for ya!! Sorry to hear about the peeing thing hug Hang in there that is right around the corner!!!!

Adrianna - I am so sorry - I am sending HUGS & POSITIVE thoughts!!!! I would have thought that if she is in active labor with those conditions the ER would HAVE to take her by law ... I thought they could not turn away life-threatening situations??? Keeping her in my thoughts!!!

On a happy note my lil Graciella just took 13 steps in a row (jerkily and stopping between about every third step) but she did not fall down/sit down ---- this is the most number of steps she has taken at once Smilie Bittersweet ... she is growing too fast!

Aww sorry sweetie about you peeing on yourself!! I have done it several times in my seven pregnancies... and oh my god was I ever embarassed.. oh well thats what happends when you are preggo... HUGS!!
