This thread is being created so people -- generally, those people who can't seem to resist talking about off-topic junk in the Target coupon thread -- have a place to talk about shopping at Target and other miscellaneous matters.

I literally was in meetings all day except for the 45 minutes I spent at Target having my way with them!
Febreze Noticeables are $4.99 if anyone likes them like I do. I have one in my new office, it smells yummy!

When the cashier scanned the $6 q, it beeped but she remembered it was 5.99 so she adjusted the amount to 5.99. But then the register asked for supervisor approval. I thought that coupons for $10 or more are the only ones asking for supervisor approval but this happened. When she entered the second and third one, both asked for supervisor approval again. This is the first time this happened to me and maybe something new?

Next factor: The Pentax was $700 for the kit from an authorized reseller on fleabay (plus pentax rebate and 20% live cashback...sweet
The Nikon, at the time was $1000+.
Now: Pentax k200D kit is less than $600, Nikon D90 kit is over $1000. (Amazon, both with the 18-55 lens)
Last biggest sell, image stabilization in the camera. No need to pay for vibration reduction when buying new glass.
i.e. - one of the most common lenses people choose for their first upgrade is the 50-200 or the 55-200.
Pentax 50-200 - $180.00
Nikon 55-200 vr - $230.00
just going by Amazon prices there.
I'm sure there are deals to be had on both.
Battery life on the Pentax is amazing as well. Pentax states 1000 photos on 4 AA lithium. I'm able to get 1500-1800 photos out of 4 batteries.
I do like that D80 though. My brother has one, and I've played with it as well. The two camera's a hard to compare completely cuz' the D80-90 is considered a step up from the Pentax k200d. I've used both and don't see much difference...but I'm just taking photo's of my kids and pets, etc.
Whatever you do...I highly recommend the book called "The Digital Photography Book" by Scott Kelby. I love this book. It just tells me what to do when I want a particular kind of shot....Barney style.
