Frown I feel bad b/c he is my HYPER kid and he is so out of it today Frown He was fine this morning then told me he had a stomachache and has been down since.... I hear you I am jealous of everyone elses grocery store selection esp. that pesky Publixs!! HAHA No Kmart that is madness even though it is normally a hell hole... the kmart near my mom's house is such a craphole and they don't like couponers Frown C'mon there prices are way too high not to use a coupon LOL

That stinks about your grocery stores. Our Kroger has some decent deals between catalinas, mega sales, and double coupons up to .50 - so that helps A LOT!! And, when I have the q's to make it worthwile, I try to roll some gc deals at Target to help with the grocery budget. My Kroger used to take the RR's from Wags, but they quit doing that so I'm going to either have to find a store that will take them (may try for WM because their posted coupon policy says they take other store q's - but gonna try on a day I'm willing to fight), or slow down on my Wagging. We can't roll into gc's here. They won't even ring up the gc in the same transaction if you have other items.

Wow.... 9/10 folks is a big number to feed on a small budget. We're just 4 ppl and a dog. And some stray friends 1-2x a week - lol.

We do alot of chicken here (which is getting more expensive recently). I shop a lot of the manager specials and buy maybe a couple days worth at most of fresh veggies/fruits. I love the TQ's for apples and whatnots - definitely helpful when you have a fruit-addicted toddler! Though, when I can get frozen veggies for .50 or less a bag, I stock up as much as possible and use those. We do eat lots of mac & cheese or pb&j (well, the girls and I do...) I *try* to keep our meals balanced. *shrug* You do the best you can with what you got, right?

My grocery budget was $125-$150 a week and I used like NO Qs... for the longest time! Thats for 6 of us! Then I started T'ing and I would spend about $100 a week.. but get like $300 worth of stuff! Now..lets not go there Wink

It amazes me what can be done with just $50/week + q's! I never would've thought it could be so good.

In a totally non-shopping topic...

On the way home from church tonight, my toddler is chattering away merrily. She does this a lot, and I never can tell if she's talking to herself or attempting a conversation with us - but this is how it went: (of course it's even funnier in that toddleresque speach, but I can't type that way...)

"daddy drive drive drive... I see yellow... I see blue... oh! garbage truck... go home... go up the steps... put on jammies... go downstairs... get spankin'... opps - I sorry..."

Just makes me wonder what's going on in her head!

Around here... if they have a cat deal I try to utilize it.. like I buy TONS of Ragu and stuff when it is on specials with cats.. my husband always tells me we don't need 50 Ragu and 40 peanut butters.. yes we do if I paid 5 total for it all!! Mind you if we don't eat that much of one product, I will give to my mom or inlaws.. so it does not go to waste..

Hey we go thru an OCEAN of Ragu and several barrels of PB ... I totally get it!!! My lil guy LOVES to eat PB sandwiches (no Jelly for him) he told be that he is convinced that Jelly has Jelly-fish in it but they just aren't telling us! ROFL!!!!! I have had him read the ingredients with me but he doesn't believe me LOL

Hey guys!! If you go to Babies R us they have the sesame street items on sale for 3 for 5... well buy 15 packages of them.. use the 5 off 25 and you end up paying only 5 bucks for 15 boxes!! HTH someone Smilie

Oh, I'm sure it's a real coupon I just thought maybe there was a trick to getting it to print out right. I tried one other from the wiki and it came out teeny tiny and illegible. I'll wait for the multiple. Thanks! Big Grin
