Is there a reason you can't swaddle the baby with a regular baby blanket -- receiving blankets are about perfect? (I looked the Miracle Blanket up to see what it was.)

He breaks out of them from about 3 or 4 weeks old. He's a little Houdini. I have a pic of him busted out of the swaddle as well as one arm wriggled out of his gown. He would bust out of the swaddle and would be awake within 5 mins when he was definitely overtired. With the Miracle Blanket he at least gets one sleep cycle. So somewhere between 30-45 mins.

Hilarious! My daughter didn't want her feet covered. She was 3 or 4 days old when she started -- there she would be, feet uncovered and footies off or bare feet sticking out of her nighty. We would put them back on and cover her back up. Sure enough, wasn't long and there were the little bare feet again. After a few days we sort of went DUH
