There's nothing in that ad worth lining up at 4am for, IMHO...and the free reusable shopping bag just doesn't tip the scales in favor of doing it, either.

Does anyone have the numbers to look up the Mr. Potato Head Spud Buds (like Barb posted in the deals thread) to see if they are in the local stores Please ? setsail posted 204 10 0399, but I don't get anything with that (I may not know how to use these Blush3 ). Both ST here don't have them.

Ohhhh... the fun stage. Last night it took me and my oldest DD to secure the baby into her seat after church... when she doesn't want to go in, she stiffens her back and becomes dead weight. UGH! Somehow, DH is always better at getting her to go in calmer than I am - but it probably has something to do with the fact that I'm kind of the "all business" type that thinks she should just get her little bum in the seat, and he's willing to act silly, make funny noises, and bribe or otherwise convince her to get in without a big struggle.

it was really late so i forgot the most important part. i went for a hand vac w/ power brush for the carpeted stairs b/c i was using my big ol' canister vac and it tumbled down the steps about 3 times when i was vacuuming when we first moved in. really dangerous and scared me big time! had to find a better solution.

the power/beater brush definitely pulls the dander out but i wish the seal on the hose was better to get more suction to use the crevice tool. basically no suction for that so i don't use it. and stairs have lots of places to use the crevice tool! hmmm, lightbulb moment!, i should just use my baby shopvac for that....so annoying the cord is so short so you have to use a heavy duty extension cord.

anyway, i've had the hoover sidewinder for 10 yrs, i use one of the 1inch foam brushes to clean off the filter after each use. you cannot believe all the dust and dander! you can also rinse it w/ water but then you have to let it dry b4 putting it away and then it just gets dirty all over again. you could also use an old toothbrush.

don't get any vac where the filter is made of papery/fibrous material. i have a $20 bissell featherweight stick vac and the filter is a be-otch to clean and doesn't do a good job filtering dust. probably if the filter can be rinsed w/ water and reused, it's better quality. if the filter looks like this, don't get it (click on more views to see the whole thing)-

eventually i'm going to replace that useless stick vac w/ a sanitaire mightymite.

if i was shopping for a new one, i would make sure the reviews said there was enough suction to use the crevice tool.

you may want to look at ones made esp for pets.

The problem Secret 3-pk is the green sparkly one. The other 3-pks are fine, at 9.19.

Also, a mis-price on the shelf is for the Pampers extra protection (or whatever they're called! laugh out loud). They're actually 10.49. DIdn't realize that. Had an interesting screen pop up and amazingly, the supervisor, who just *happened* to be walking by, chose the Pampers as the free item (EEK!) and put in his code!! Craziness. DIdn't use anymore of those coupons, but was happy with free diapers!! Wink

Do SuperTargets sell Beech-Nut baby food? I know none of my regular ones do, and keep forgetting to check the STs. TIA! Big Grin

Oh, and PS. Does anyone have any info/reviews on the Bissell mop that's in the BF ad? I really need a carpet cleaner of some sort, and can't afford much right now. Just wondering if that's worth the money or if I should just wait for something better.

I'm not sure where I saw it, but awhile back there was a link posted to an application that you could type a manufacturer code in, to see what all that manufacturer made. Does that sound familiar to anyone? Where might I find that?
