i ordered these hoop earrings [express.com] in rose gold and i didn't realize how big they are! i don't think i'll ever wear them. if any of you likes large hoop earrings, i can send them to you, please pm me. if there is more than 1 person interested, i will choose randomly.

I agree. Thanks to low cut jeans younger generations no longer have a defined waist or have what we considered a flat stomach even if they work out religiously. Yet, they continue to make them & pretty much nothing else. Sometimes, I think I must be the only person who thinks it's a bad look. : confused:

In my experience, men aren't that much of a mystery. They just want us to think they are. Most men will say they prefer a girl w/o makeup. That usually translates to, "I already think you're beautiful, & don't want other men looking at you." How many times do you see women who look plain get 2nd looks? Now, how many times do you see women who dress nicely, wear at least some makeup, & style their hair turn heads? (As a side note, men & women have very different ideas of what styles look hot on a woman.) To attract a man's attention, you need to stand out from the casual, plain masses. The other option is to hang out in groups so a guy can really get to know you. In that case, the way one looks may not be as important. Unfortunately, men can't see your personality at first glance. You need to give them something they can see & find attractive.

I haven't. I'm still kind of scared of it. I hate how I look in photos too. I rarely take one that I think people should see. :l ol:

e*bates just sent me an email & they had deducted cash back on 4 Express orders. I haven't returned anything to Express in awhile. How far back do they go? This happens often, & I don't question it. I decided to email them about it this time, since I know it's been since Nov. at least since I returned anything. Normally, I think I may have returned something, so I just let it go.

Great comments on the MUA and the brushes. Okay, I'm taking mine and bringing my own palettes for them to use. I do not feel comfortable at all sharing makeup and brushes with everyone else. Not worth the risk for my eyes. Hm...now I have a few months to consider which palette to bring. Not sure if I want them to use my precious Naked palette since I assume they'd use it wastefully. Maybe the Too Faced ones

i have done it once. and they let me. but it makes me crazy that i have to find something to spend the $ on right there and then.

i called to exchange the imperfect striped dolman tee. got the blue/green ikat button back instead. she told me i was responsible for return shipping, i reminded her it was defective and why would i pay $7 to return $6 item, she said she'll waive it. hopefully it will all be processed without problems.

I agree with everything you said in this post about men, their thinking on wearing less makeup , attractive girls and and about low cut jeans too You are so not alone to not like them. That's why I like NY&Co pants better sometimes because I feel its more for a women fit and so not made for a teenager like body. VS low five is still my most favorite. (unlike what the name suggests) It sits bit below belly button and fit is perfect without showing off the curves in wrong places plus my bootie looks cuter in those than any other jeans I own till date

I met DH on forum site like this 5+ years ago. It was a technical forum and we used to discuss the .Net technology questions on there when it was really new with the dating or meeting him the last thing on my mind. But later we both just clicked once we started emailing etc....Now when I think I feel it was much better than actually trying to find someone on dating site and worry about end up meeting some creepy people. I would just say keep your options open. You never know, I believe in Karma and I always think nice people eventually finds nice people to be around them and to be with them forever

Speaking of express - I have a question about the cold shoulder tee [express.com] I bought. I paid just 6.99 for it so I think I will keep it. I love material and color I got it (windsor blue)in too. I am sure some of you might have it already but I wonder how do you wear it without showing off the bra straps? or you just don't care about it showing? The stitched part on shoulder is like thinner than bra straps itself and for top being loose it does not always stay in the same place on body.

i've heard my store say no returns without receipt. it may be different now bc of xmas... i should try! they have let me do even exchanges without receipt tho (bc the person didn't know how to look up the receipt) but i have definitely heard long fights with other customers about something like that. it's possible they were trying to get store credit or something though - i'm not sure.

their policy now is exchange only for no receipts. few years ago, they do store credit. i think exchange only is what happened to hba - store credit to be used the same day. it's not store credit per se, you (or they) hold on to your merchandise until you find your replacement, and they process in one transaction.

my issue with that one time i did that, is when i wanted to replace the replacement the receipt is special because it says exchange only. for that transaction, the minimum purchase for coupons apply only after the original amount. say you're replacing a $30 item in an exchange only receipt for a $45 purchase, the $15 off $30 coupon won't apply because it is counting as a $15 purchase only.

those bugs tend to start small and reproduce like crazy (kinda like bacteria), so you wouldn't see it in fresh stuff bc there'd be very little of it. leave it alone to breed tho, and it could turn into a lot more. i think the idea of throwing it in the freezer for a day is to kill off whatever may be in there in the first place, so it never gets a chance to breed.

brownies in a mug? huh .. i have seen them in a jar, which btw were not good, and of course you cant just dump 300 brownies out and start over. For mine we did flip flops in the wedding colors, playing cards, and grr.. beer coozies (dh insisted on that one, and i made him wear pink so he won)

No on the dresses and you're going to bake 150 batches of brownie individually ....by baking them in the microwave in mugs? I'm dying, this is such a clusterf**k! Is it too late to contact the Bridezilla's Show producers? I think there's still a lot good material for them to work with

If it is in a mug and you are microwaving i would say no.. those are notorious for exploding the mugs
this is what i imagine she is trying for, with more decoration, the mugs are real hard to keep clean around the edges also, so the will prob look like $h!T, and shes not going to be happy...
