About the cordoury pants from Express, do they have those lines down the fabric like regular cordoury that I wore when I was a kid? Or is it just thicker material? I need some thicker pants. I have yet to find new jeans that I don't need to wear with heels and my legs are cold since my old jeans are getting worn out.

laugh out loud you're funny - i think the definition of corduroy is the "lines down the fabric" as you call it. that's the texture of the fabric.

it is a lot warmer than jeans tho, so i opt for it in the winter. i have a couple vs corduroy pants too and heart them!

Haha. I figured as much but was hoping they were just thicker fabric without the lines. I couldn't see the lines in the pics!!

I guess I need to wait on finding some decent pants. Need jeans for short people!

ahhh. I see! I've never worn leggings or jeggings. Or skinny jeans because I feel that the tightness around my entire leg will make me feel claustrophobic EEK! I have Diesel jeans which are tight around the thighs and is bootcut and I love them. Hmm. What to do. I don't want to wear nice jeans on a daily basis. Or just doing errands.

hmmm. i don't like things that are tight around the waist. it's sounding more like i may not like these pants after all. it sucks that it takes so long for them to get to me after i order. Coverlaugh i've been far too lazy to make a trip to the mall.

do they fit similar to stella pants or those ponte knit pants? i'm surprised i like the ponte knit ones considering they're a style i dislike, but they're stretchy and not too constricting, plus they're warm.

wait - you've never worn leggings??? i'm not a huge fan myself bc i don't like my leg shape, but they are SO WARM... pair them with knee high boots and you'll be good to go all winter!

it's hard for me to make a comment on the fit because of the difference in fabric. i would say maybe closer to the stella jean leggings. but then again, the ponte knit i tried on are one size too big.

Nope. They seem to be thinner than regular pants.... I don't know cause I never tried. I am a fan of tights. Close enough?

I am a jeans and sweater kinda girl in winter. Maybe I need to update my look?

exactly, and I also favor cords over jeans in the winter. they feel more snuggly. I got some of the hipster cords from VS this fall.

It's either that, or sweatpants. Cool that's my cold weather dressing in a nutshell.
