I needed that stuff out of my home. It was taking over my bedroom. I usually send what will fit in a large box. This time I filled 3 medium size boxes.

I have a great organizational system for my returns. In my experience, it is a toss up when/if VS will mess up a return.

Nordstrom has one of the $125 gwp's plus a step up.

i don't think peplum styles flatter our body type k. i haven't gotten any for this reason. i think they're cute, but my waist is just not small enough for peplum tops to be flattering. i feel like they're best for hourglass figures, which i definitely do not have.

tried on some stuff tonight after i opened my 7 packages from the weekend. i don't think i'm keeping anything from express except the ones that i already have (the sweater and the shark bite dress). i really do love that shark bite dress. it works a lot better for me than the elastic waist dresses they have.

the only elastic waist dress i thought was ok was the printed chiffon hi low dress [express.com]. probably because it's a bit longer in back so it doesn't feel so short on me. also tried the floral chiffon elastic waist dress [gstatic.com] and it was way too short on me.

i also tried on the lace 3/4 sleeve jacket.

i'm not sure about it yet. it's cute in a vintagey sort of way. i'm not sure i would have anywhere to wear it to, but i think it could look nice if paired with the right outfit. i'm just not sure how to style it.

got my cross back dress [victoriassecret.com] in the black and white print and i like it! i like the print and i guess i'm a tad thinner than when i tried on the turquoise one for you guys kuz it was actually a bit loose in the 4. i still wouldn't size down to a 2 but now i can wear my sticky bra and there will still be room.

Upside, I went to 2 Express' and 1 store will re-apply my $15 off Q :w oot: . I was finally able to get this suit: venetian teal herringbone [express.com] and lace print skirt [express.com] to pair it with. I already have the contrast blouse and dress shirt in that color. I'm so excited : ) Also got the same herringbone pants in dark raspberry. So nice to have matching sets! Time to retire my Target suit :n od:

i tried the mint in the store. it's what made me order online. you're right about the black with lace being formal. i guess i got attracted to the lace.

and i think if i was as thin as when i just had the baby ( :cr azy: how my body works), i could have pulled a 2. delivering the baby (the 10 months i was pregnant) was the fastest way i lost 8 lbs :lo l: i want to have another :wh ee:

my size 4 headache-inducing diagonal banded skirt fits nicely now though. i tucked in a black cami, topped it with a white slub top [express.com], and compliments from dh the whole day! :o mg:

Alvs, I tried the sweater dress from Express last night- the one with black on the sides, and pink ruched in the middle. So cute from the front, but the back... with no ruching, even my no-show knickers were showing... do you wear a slip with this one or do tights solve the problem?

I had so many packages between all of the express, VS, and bumble orders I made. It was like a second Christmas It's also great to be working from my own office and house, opposed to with the distraction of family and everything else going on.

Yesterday, I got price adjustments on my express clearance orders. Now, both my mom and I have the shark bite dress in every color, but for $12, why not. I also went to the VS store and got all of my SAS items price adjusted. Online, I had ordered two Cubs giftsets from online before the 20% code, and I got really lucky because they gave me by 20% back when I called.

I feel pretty productive...and like I got really lucky with all of the PA's. I ended up with pretty much everything I wanted from VS, except for the jingle teddy, which sold out right away in my stores. I really wish that I had gotten ahold of it.


Quick question: I ordered two sweaters with the free scarf promotion. I really don't like either sweater. If I return the sweaters, do I need to return the scarf? Will they charge me?

Also, I had the funniest thing happen yesterday. I went to my boxing gym, and there was a new member who was apparently out of water bottles. I know this because she brought a Rumchata bottle (presumably filled with water).

It would never occur to me to bring a liquor bottle filled with water to a gym, especially a glass one. Every time I think about this person, I laugh
