Hi Everyone, I'm finally back, over jet lag, and back to being productive. My secret santa was ayoungpretender, and she got me an awesome gift.

My gift included:
VS fashionshow 2012 bag and brushes
VS sequin coin purse
VS fragrance sampler
Body Shop almond body butter
Body Shop almond hand and cuticle cream
2 VS trio eyeshadows.

Thanks so much, ayoungpretender.

I had so many packages between all of the express, VS, and bumble orders I made. It was like a second Christmas Smilie It's also great to be working from my own office and house, opposed to with the distraction of family and everything else going on.

Yesterday, I got price adjustments on my express clearance orders. Now, both my mom and I have the shark bite dress in every color, but for $12, why not. I also went to the VS store and got all of my SAS items price adjusted. Online, I had ordered two Cubs giftsets from online before the 20% code, and I got really lucky because they gave me by 20% back when I called.

I feel pretty productive...and like I got really lucky with all of the PA's. I ended up with pretty much everything I wanted from VS, except for the jingle teddy, which sold out right away in my stores. I really wish that I had gotten ahold of it.

Quick question: I ordered two sweaters with the free scarf promotion. I really don't like either sweater. If I return the sweaters, do I need to return the scarf? Will they charge me?
Nice gift & great deals. woot

So strange these customs. I've only attended weddings where the bridesmaid and groomsmen both walk in arm in arm together :c onfused: Then they separate to take their places. Then the Bride comes in, sometimes alone, with father, or with both parents.

Edit: I'm reading up about this more, and I suppose weddings that I've been to are usually in highly religious families/church ceremonies and I've only been to those types of weddings so that's tradition for those types of weddings.
I've seen weddings both ways. For most of the weddings I've been to, the groom, best man, & ring bearer enter from the side. Next to enter are the bridesmaids & groomsmen walking the aisle together. The MOH enters next walking alone. She's followed by the flower girl. The bride walks in with her dad or someone filling the roll. Occasionally her mom also joins them, but that's not common IME. Some weddings the bride enters alone. I've also seen weddings like nerdi & alvs describe. I think the groomsmen & bridesmaid entering together is more traditional. It was always done that way, when I was young. Occasionally, younger generations go the other route. In the end, I don't think there is a right or wrong way. It just depends on what the bride & groom prefer.

Thanks ladies for the BM/GM walk input. I feel less awkward walking by myself now and it's nice to know either way is not wrong. I think we are walking on grass and I was hoping to have a support to not trip and fall laugh out loud But of course was angry when finding out we probably won't. Hopefully I don't sink and don't need those grass shoe walker things vomit

sometimes the $10 codes work on the 2 for bras too Whee Wink
Yes! I was playing around with it. But I already used my PBOS Sadwalk But what if the $10 doesn't apply to the bra I'm actually keeping shake head I don't see any other $10 off bras. Hopefully some are coming soon!

Thanks! DH talked me into keeping the size 0 slacks OMG ... I get that it means they fit like they do in the photo (butt/thighs)...but if the seams don't relax a little I won't be able to eat or I'll have to get the clasp let out half an inch. Jewelry: if you have time, Macy's has loads of costume jewelry on clearance.
Do you mean the boyshorts? I have tried those and they get bunched up under any bottoms I wear.
Probably letting the pants out will increase its wear-ability. I find Express pants to be cut strangely at least on me. The butt area never looks good on me shake head

Nope, the shortie [victoriassecret.com]. I think it's relatively new. Their boyshorts SUCK! I wish they had more Pink boyshorts and never stopped making them. Or rather, had I known, I would've stocked up on prints!

I guess tradition is changing nowadays. I would probably go with the BM + GM. Though it makes sense about the GMs being with the Groom and BMs being with the bride. It's just so weird to me since I've only seen it done one way. Now, gotta practice my strut!

I want to keep better track of how much I spend on things so I don't waste money. Can use what I save for trips or other stuffSmilie

I have worn them 2 times a week at least since I've bought them and I've had them several months. As far as express denim they have held up much better than my other express jeans. I have more expensive jeggings and the express are my favorite! They're a keeper! I'll buy more soon for sure!

On the topic of Express jeans, after my Mia jeans, I think my 2nd favorite are the Rerocks I got on clearance a couple months ago. I'd like to order more, but I don't really like any of the washes at the moment. I hope they stock some dark washes w/ less fading soon.

You probably took good care of them. My jeans usually don't last long LOLLL (quite clumsy). Do you always wash them in the machine? or sometimes handwash?

I always wash them in the machine. Normally I just wash them with regular detergent. If you really want to be careful with them use woolite dark in the gentle cycle.

Since I'm on the short side as well, do you find the inseam to be too long? I think I usually need 28 inches if I'm just wearing flip flops.

I LIKE! Do you also find the inseams to be too long? Do you always wear with heels? Have you rolled them up before?

I'm desperately needing to find some jeans. I like bootcut, but I haven't found ones I like that aren't super long. I'm longing for some Diesel jeans, but they're too expensive for me at the moment.

I think I need some of these pencil jeans to wear with boots.

Also - are these like denim? With leggings, I always associate it with the polyester type of the 80s.

And how is the rise? Low rise? Mid rise? I think maybe I should go to the store to try some on....

They come in short too so that inseam is off I believe. They hit at my ankle.

Thanks for the links. I think the only Stella Extreme Stretch jeans I have are a couple pair of barely boots. Do I need more leggings? Scratchchin

I got my pair of Rerocks on sale for a great price. Keep checking & you may be able to get them cheaply. Many of us here stalk Express looking for deals. Teehee
