I haven't tried VS jeans yet. I'm so frugal (*cough* cheap) that it kills me to pay their prices, when I can get jeans from Express so much cheaper. If I ever see a great deal, I'll try them. They do seem to have more high cut options, which I really prefer.
If you buy using a tier, that helps them become a little cheaper. Smilie

ugh i forgot to pay my express card bill. now i have to call for same-day processing. Facepalm does anyone know how much that charge is? i figure it should be more than a late fee. annoying that you can't pay the bill in person tho (or... can you? i can't seem to figure this out). u can do that at vs.

i don't want to call at work from my cube, and my cell phone gets shoddy reception and isn't working in the hall right now. Facepalm serves me right. shake head

I admit my booty doesn't go boom-boom-pow in Express pants. I think if the pockets were placed lower (or if I tried the flap-back pockets), the effect would be dramatically improved and we'd all look like we had fantastic little rump-shakers. I should clarify, for suit pants, Express Editors are horrible on me. Too tight in the waist, roomy in the booty. Express Columnist, fit my butt/thighs perfectly in 0, pretty good in 2, but they start to lose shape and just hang. I never know what to do b/c in all practicality- these models put the pants on for photos and never eat, nor sit in them... but then I remember that pants always seem to feel too big months down the road and I'm not shrinking so... the seams must give a little with some wearing. For my waist, I'd love the 2. I could eat at the Las Vegas Paris Buffet and only be marginally uncomfortable. If I wore the size 0 to that, you better believe I'd stuff myself silly, but would have to ditch the pants and whip together a napkin skirt for our exit. EEK!

Same here, the lowest I've gone in Jeans is Size 0 or 2 for a legging. 00 is totally off my radar. You never know. Some I literally can't zip up in a 2, but in a different style of legging, same size could be roomy. There's always hope and she's going in to make returns anyway, so nothing is lost, only knowledge gained
(Secret I would buy everything in 2's if it weren't for DH's insistence that everything fits better in a 0 shake head, ugh my poor intestines )

It's your boobs. Styles don't look good on me after the boob job. The extra boobage makes it more frumpy looking most of the time. I haven't tried the sharkbite on yet. It's on the way though.

Also try a belt with them. Sometimes that makes it more fitted and less frumpy.

I had been thinking this too - that them things are adding extra volume to the entire dress with a style like that... not just the chest.

thanks hon. it is $15. Faint for that i will chance the late fee and see if i can try to call in and get it waived. if not, lesson learned - never leave my express acct alone for that long! (this is really bc i didn't do any returns last month... ) i am setting up autopayment from my bank as well, just in case... i thought express used to have an autopay option... could have sworn. oh well.

I've experienced it both ways. Bigger boobs do add more volume. I haven't had much luck post boob job with the style. Sometimes I try a belt and that looks better.

Iagree that style of dress is best for ppl with average sized chesticles imo. it falls nicer.

but hey - so many things need a large chest to fill them out there's gotta be some to flatter us not-so-well-endowed folks also! laugh out loud at least that's what i think.

i have skinny legs, small wrists, big upper arms, big tummy Paperbag come to think of it, the most flattering outfit for me might be half-sleeve top that is a little loose in the tummy and a short skirt.
