after years of buying all kinds of bikinis i've found that the most practical for me are regular bottoms. like the ruched side ones. they fit under clothing well without any weird bumps, and won't look weird under a wetsuit. i know some are not meant to be practical, but still - i can't help but think this way when i'm browsing. the most practical items are what i end up using the most anyway.
Yes, you make very valid points about the ruched bottoms. I haven't thought about it that way. I bought my first ruched pair sometime before SAS. I do find that when I wear the side ties, they're always sticking stupidly out of my shorts because I can't put them in since they're tight anyway
Yes! Do one in May! Right before SAS!
i wonder what questions they asked that made your bride have second thoughts about getting her makeup done? i really really think she should hire an artist, even if it's just for herself. especially since she doesn't normally wear makeup. she will look awesome (they tend to work the best on ppl who don't normally wear makeup since it won't take much to make them look different than normal) and without getting an artist she could end up looking normal. either way it won't be bad, but it would be so much easier to hire someone.
i was also like you in that i was scared of them using their own brushes/etc. but it turned out fine for me. they do clean their brushes pretty well. i settled on airbrush foundation tho - they airbrushed me with MUFE HD foundation. it seems more sanitary that way.
i'm pretty comfortable doing a neutral eye nowadays from all the practice from my friend's wedding a couple years ago. i learned face contouring also -- it's not too hard! just look for where your cheekbones are - blush goes right below it, contour goes in the hollow and around the sides of your face (and sides of nose if you want to), highlight goes right on or slightly above your cheekbone. look for youtube - there are tons of useful tutorials! (i like to watch bridal tutorials on asian yt gurus since they deal with our hooded eye issue better) it's not too much wasted product - your eye shadows will last longer than you'll need them anyway. [i know you have as much shadow as me and mine are very far from getting even a dent in them]
also, one sleeve lace dress [express.com] in dark raspberry. i didn't know it came in this color! i remember trying the 2 and 4 and they both fit me - 4 was more comfy while 2 looked better in photos (the usual). i liked this dress but the sleeve was way too large for me. very cute dress otherwise!
where is boca raton, fl? there seems to be some activity in my next account there.

That dress is static fabric. It's cute though.
