Is this the kit [drugstore.com]that you have?

I'm curious because my friend that's getting married wants to try nair, but I told her nair doesn't work for me and I suggested to get professionally waxed, but in light of what you said...a cheap at home kit might be better.

She also wants to do her legs as well - think that will cover it?

I use this. [amazon.com] Mainly because I got 6 bottles free after Q. It's kinda like Veet. I leave it on for 10 minutes and then I use the scraper that come from a Veet bottle.

Whatever your co-worker uses, she should try way before the wedding day. Incase she has an allergic reaction or something.

Teehee i'm afraid that when i start it the hair would be more noticeable than it is. but i thought about it because i thought it wouldn't take a long time to groom. i'm thinking of using the same razor/blade i use for the eyebrows.

Yes! That's the exact kit I used. If she's never waxed herself or at least been waxed so she's familiar with the technique, it may not be a good idea. That kit is not large enough to do legs. It is more for smaller areas. It was barely enough for the bikini area because there are more smaller strips than larger. However, it is all relative depending on the amount of hair.

I haven't used Nair in years, but I have some Veet. I am tempted to try it on my legs because it is faster than shaving. I do not have any after-shave cream though. I believe it is a bit iirritating afterwards if an after-shaving cream isn't used.
Thanks!

how do you shave around your eyebrows. it amazes me that you could be that precise. i know i'd screw up and shave off my entire brow.

i think it is. i thought the original ivory looked different - maybe it was the lace that was different, not the ruffles. i'll have to compare when i get home. can you take a photo of the two so i can see?

for the sally hansen waxing kit - they make one for arms/legs that's larger. i have used it before on my arms and thought it worked well. i never waxed my legs tho.

i don't remove much hair on mine. especially now, i think it is more sparse, and i've never gone crazy plucking. might just be part of aging Frown i like my brows full and not very arched.
