I like looking at blogs or YouTube for ideas on putting outfits together. With this much pieces we have, the possibilities should be endless! I think we should buy less and just be creative with what we already have. Should be fun! I know deal shopping is fun too, but I'm just trying to convince myself I don't need to shop laugh out loud
Hehe ita. We should be able to do more. I mix and match pieces but I've gotten lazy.

And no navy. I love red and buy a lot of it but wanted to try something new.
Ic ic. I wanted the red too and wasn't sure which I wanted more but I wasn't able to catch the red in stock. Haven't seen coats at my stores. They will soon have one when I return the navy xs!

You're making me want the red now Teehee. I don't think I have a red coat with gold buttons!

I guess this is a sign that I should not buy the top.

I think DBF is upset that his rental costs more than my dress. He also stood up in a wedding like what you guys did with the suits + tie + shirt. I think that's a real nice thing that you guys did. I, too, think tuxs are unnecessary.

I guess I'm reading on weddingbee and people are saying they were able to go to DTLA and get suits for less than $100 to keep. I kind of want to make that suggestion or something. $150 is steep for something you don't want to be apart of. I even told him to step down. They already lost a person and had to beg someone that said no to join. But at the rate this is going and at this point, I could care less. Just don't want DBF cranky at me.

I hear ya about the skimping on stuff for us BMs. They could probably foot some of that with the no MUA. shake head

Navy is a nice color for a coat! I have one. Want more.
I think it's totally possible to find $100 matching suits. I'm not sure how good they'll look. I actually considered it after I found out one gm had 3 button coat rather than 2 button. It turned out to be a non-issue. You can't even tell and besides, their flower boutonnieres will set them apart from guests. I think gms can wear anything really. Then again I was going for a messy chic look with matching unmatching dresses.

If your dbf is going to continue to whine, tell him to drop out. He can still be around to help out the day of (in fact we found so's of bms/gms were useful the day of to help with setup etc). It'll make it less stressful on you.

I'm not a huge fan of the bright gold buttons tbh. They stand out so much on the navy. I'm excited for the pink one I have coming! It's supposedly more beige than pink and looks really cute! I hope it's not too big.

I kinda thought all 3 were cute! The style is not for everyone but I really like the puffed sleeves!

Amazon now has a promo that when there are 5 or more s&s items (diapers and wipes excluded) in your month's shipment, the discount is upped to 15%. Sometimes I pick the 2nd day if there really isn't much of a price diff. But with this, the cheap items help increase your item count to save more on the rest of your s&s order, esp if you have pricier stuff already scheduled.

I don't think it happened to anyone, we were just wondering what if? For coupons, they'd let you find a replacement within 48 hrs. Did you get a cancellation for an order with reward?

IIRC, I had an order 1 day past order date, and they didn't PA. May be YMMV?

ETA: I also added credits to you for starting the wiki! Thanks!
Oooh. Well, I guess I'll be the guinea pig - it happened earlier today Annoyed I was trying to re-buy some items w/ my reward... I already got a cancellation on 1 putting it below my reward by about $8.

I called CS' regular number and they basically said "tough caca" and to call the special line that's not open right now. Frown However, I had one last PA and she proceeded to PA it for an additional 50% off OMG ( you read that right, not just an extra 10% Off). It more than makes up for the lost reward, but I still need to call that special number about dress points so I might as well find out what happens when stuff goes OOS on our rewards purchases.

Porda - ur very lucky I think. Perhaps you have some skills in talking to cs that I know I lack.

I tried a gradient manicure today! Not a crazy one but just different shades of turquoise. I only had 3 colors to work with tho do I tried to get creative but I think the colors are just too opaque!

Thanks. I hope that some coupon use was involved...or will be. Bride is going for rustic elegance. Not sure why GMs would have to be in tux if rustic? Would be interesting to see the look of this wedding.

DBF said he'll write an email when the time comes when something at work makes him livid. Said he's in too good of a mood now. shake head I guess he's more the type to whine instead of doing something about it when I'm usually the opposite. It's frustrating for me cause I like to get it done and over with.

Maybe he'll help with setup or something so we don't have to in our shoes EEK!

I like the pointer and middle finger color better. The pinkie is too dark.

nod I'm hoping I don't get it fixed and then get more cancellations in the days following, that's a true nightmare b/c that would take forever to explain. Ermm I was told to use that special number when I want anything done with my points (for me: add in-store purchases)

About style blogs, I found this one http://www.puttingmetogether.com/ and the girl kinda reminds me of you!

Forgot to say, the wedding DH & I were in last September - his suit rental was $160 (incl shoes and socks). I think the pricing you quoted sounds about right. If your man's going to jump ship, better to do it now so they have time to trick someone else into it ( I would suggest they try a "junior groomsman" - nephew or young cousin). I can't wait to hear if the rehearsal dinner is on you guys like it was for us laugh out loud
