thanks GH - you're right - the XS would be too narrow in the shoulders for me. i may end up using the nordstrom one that doesn't have defined shoulders bc a lot of shirts are narrow in the shoulders for me. (this is what i get for swimming every summer when i was young...)
I wish swimming all day would have helped me. We had a pool growing up. I would spend 10 to 12 hours a day swimming in the summer. It didn't help me any.

i ordered that top in all the colors. i'm glad i did - i wasn't going to get the grey but added it at the last minute. it looks so cute on alvs.

That top's so cute. There are many I want now. I'm hoping for a good deal on tops soon.
The minus the leather is black and it looks like the other black pieces. Maybe most like the blazer since it doesn't have any of hardware. i don't think their minus leather looks cheap. I don't think it looks neimans marcus leather expensive like a vince piece would either but that's expected. i think express does minus leather well though. a lot of stores's fake leather looks awful.
so happy to finally get my blue dress. love this dress so much.
sweterdress- i'm undecided about this one.
maybe i'll try it again in store. i did like the fit - it was comfy and wasn't too short, tho with the tulip skirt in the front it may get a bit short when i walk.
I haven't seen the minus-the-leather blazer, but I do like my minus-the-leather jackets. I'll probably order it & hope it looks good in the chest area. My side boob problem is much worse than yours. Yours is all boob. A lot of mine is fat.
Now, I want one of those.
That's one great thing about living in Florida. No ironing! Humidity is a natural steamer. I always have to dust off my iron, when my sister come to visit.
Naturally, my DS wasn't happy with what I was wearing. He also asked why I rolled my hair. I told him he wouldn't be happy unless I wore a moo-moo & put my hair up in a bun. He said that would be fine.

I love the tulip dress. I dress it down with just flip flops and wear it around the house sometimes.
Now that you mention it, that tulip dress may be good to wear over my bathing suit in restaurants, esp. in the early spring & fall in N. Miami.

maybe it's a girl vs guy thing. similar to me wanting to dress up for DH but him not liking it and wanting me to keep it at home where only he sees. maybe your DS doesn't want others oogling his mom.
