Most people were in mostly black some with hint of white and only a few in non-black jackets. One old man was in blue Yankees sweatshirt.
I cried more than I imagined I would And I couldn't speak a word when I hugged the guy who lost his wife. I was mad on myself later for not being able to say anything
Later I told hubby to tell him to let us know if we can be any help to him.
Hubby was all mushy when we went to mall in the evening and did even Express returns for me.
I see Express FS on $125 or more. I need some retail therapy, but what to buy :scratch :

BM duties went okay yesterday. I think the challenge with a DIY everything wedding, even up to the fake flowers (which we hand made from streamers yesterday) is the fact that brides can be kind ambitious, especially the creative ones like my friend. Thank goodness no more brownies in a mug! Common sense finally hit her!
One BM didn't show up and instead went to play hockey
I'm learning a lot to reference for my own future wedding - like actually using real flowers instead of no flowers or paper/fake flowers.

Wedding is April 13th. A couple more meet ups and all done! Phew!
