for anyone with a keurig:
deal on ekobrew refillable cups. i have the stainless steel one and i love it - it's awesome and i will probably stop buying kcups and just use these and regular coffee after i deplete my stash.

I keep staring at that deal! laugh out loud I'm wondering if it's a good idea to give MIL the ekobrew in stainless steel along with a small box of kcups with her personalized coffee mug (just got the email that the mug shipped woot). It sounds like a great addition, except, she doesn't have a keurig yet... I know she wants one badly, she's mentioned it several times when we've talked, or she's seen one, or when we went to kohl's, she's getting her kitchen redone in 2-3 weeks... Maybe I should call FIL and collaborate so he gets her the keurig and flowers... or maybe I should butt out of this one... thoughts?

i LOVE my keurig - one of my favorite wedding gifts that we received. i use it daily. if she wants one you should def tell FIL to get one for her. get the programmable one (b60 and up) and not the vue type.

i would get the stainless steel over the silicone ekobrews. i love my stainless steel ones and they don't show any wear at all. i just ordered 2 more so i can be lazy and not run out. laugh out loud

the 40 is nice - i wouldn't get the mini because the water reservoir is small and you don't want to be refilling it after 1 or 2 cups (too much hassle). i am glad i upgraded to the b60 (sort of exchanged the wedding gift which was the b40) because it has a timer and it turns itself on every day at the same time so i don't have to wait for the water to heat up in the morning. it doesn't take long (probably about a minute or so before it's ready) but for those of us that get up at the same time every day it's just more convenient for it to turn itself on at a set time. the b40 has a large-ish reservoir (it's 60 oz i think - it's larger than stated because they "updated" the design) but no timer. the b60 has a 72 oz reservoir even though it says 60 oz on most listings.

i got my b60 for pretty cheap after rebate and kohls deals but i still call it a wedding present bc it more or less was.... laugh out loud i just exchanged the one i got at macys for one at kohls for cheaper. Dontknow

I'm not sure if there are any angel rewards or birthday codes floating around, but if anyone has one, I would be willing to trade both an e-mailed SRC (to be used now) and a May certificate good from May 12-26. Please message me if you happen to have either an angel reward or birthday code.

:wo ot: Just made order for MIL for Mother's Day, not getting her flowers I've decided, her husband will probably be getting her those... had 2 codes for shutterfly from similac, plus all the other codes they've sent me recently to different email accounts.. it feels so empowering when all the codes stack together. : D

Total for this recipient: $17.70... so I'm only really paying tax and shipping for 2 Coffee Mugs and 2 Magnets : D :dan ce14:

I ordered the baby's birth announcements from Shutterfly in December $30 shipped for 75 personalized picture cards and envelopes
$4.32 for 67 4x6prints shipped in March
$14.05 for 55 4x6prints and 15 personalized stationary (poster like) cards and envelopes shipped in March...

I'm really getting hooked on that website... :wo ot: Alot of good recent FP deals for codes.. Just an idea if anyone's thinking of ordering to arrive before Mother's Day.
Or, if you like the codes used, sign up for Similac Strong Moms, and they send over shutterfly codes periodically :n od:
Good idea! For good grandmothers, something with the baby's pic. is always better than impersonal flowers.

Today's Summary (First World Probs)
1) Leave for Auto maintenance appt, road is shut down for brush fire, must take extra 25 min route.
2) route has road construction, hello dirt truck traveling at 25mph :facep alm:
3) at auto shop, "regular maintenance" turns into "OMG, everything is leaking and broken - you might just want to trade it in" (It's about $5k in repairs) :e ek: Possibly only needs half of that.
4) They comp me a rental car and after driving it home, I realize it is on EMPTY and have to fill it up! and that they notated that on the rental agreement (WTF?)
5) eBay's been farking up the calculated shipping on my listings - telling people it is free and then when they pay, charge them $16?! At least one is threatening to open a case :face palm:
6) MARGAFRIGGINRITAS
7) The end, sorry for the rantation.
8) Más margaritas.

Wow, what a day. I was reading this a little while ago & looked at the time. I was thinking, "She's drinking margaritas at 8:30 am?", then I noticed this was posted last night. laugh out loud I was thinking, "now, that's a laid back life." Sign me up for burying my toes in the sand & drinking margaritas at 8:30 am. Stick Out Tongue

: ) It sounds like you've got it figured out. You needed a service and they were happy to provide it! That is the only way I could see living near anyone's parents - for the babysitting services :tong ue: My parents were babysitting their neighbor's kids and my mom was telling us, "Yeah, I'm not changing diapers or anything, they'll just have to stay wet until they get home from the movies" :m essed: DH and I were like Whaaaa? How can I not think she won't take the same lazy approach with my future kidlets? I may not be paying cash for their services, but do not think we are not "paying" somehow! :sh ake: This is why I hope DH's parents move down if anyone gets preggo in the eggo.
At least, they allowed their neighbors to go to the movie. The one time we asked my inlaws to babysit they said they'd love to, if we'd stay there with him. Rolleyes2

ughhhh, now that I've had a month to think about it, since I placed the order end of March, I'm thinking of canceling this item http://www.victoriassecret.com/sl...earch=true
Got it in red, sz M... I don't really NEED it... I just WANT it, it's very pretty, but I already have it in white, black and hot pink.. I would offer to sell it for the price I paid plus first class mail shipping, but it's not allowed over $5 value trades.... Decisions, decisions... :l ol: I hope this is the hardest decision I have to make today... :no d:
Keep it! Soon you'll forget about the money & you'll still have the lingerie. It would be different if you didn't want it, but it's not a huge amount of money you would be getting back anyway.

I hate May too. All month long I'm reminded of my deceased mom & sister. Frown My mom & I shared the same birthday & my sister's birthday was next month also. Then there's Mother's Day to feel sad about. I'm always a little down in May. Down

I've kept things I didn't really want, because they sold out so quickly. Embarrassment If everybody else wants it, I should too, right? Plus, I actually have it. Stick Out Tongue Isn't it funny how we can justify our shopping/spending habit? laugh out loud

Just a word of caution. Watch your BO items at VS. I ordered two swim tops, used a $60 reward, $15 tier, and $10 SRC. I was supposed to be charged $16 to my credit card for both. Instead, the first item shipped with a price of free (weird), and when the second item shipped, my CC was charged $38. I just called VS, and the lady said that they have been having issues with this. Just watch yourself with BO's, whether you do or do not cancel them.

Oh man, what a fantastic week. Over the last two days, I just learned I won a big teaching award (cash prize), research fellowship (research cash prize), and I submitted a photo for my gym's photo contest (cash prize), and i won that as well. It's a pretty cool picture of me kicking over a 6 foot bag and above my head. I'm feeling really good today, which is nice, considering how down I've been about school lately.

On top of that, earlier this week, I used an AR to get a Plumtastic Unforgettable top. Well, I was just checking through clearance, and item CD-292-549 is available in Plumtastic in my size for $7.99. Sure beats the $28.50 bottoms I had put off buying because I didn't like them that much.

What luck.

i like how that blogger puts up the size that she's wearing. however she never mentions her height. do you know how tall she is?
I don't. She probably mentions it somewhere since her website name has petite on it. I will let you know if I come across it.
