Thanks for the Real Techniques deal! I wish I had seen that before I spent all my drugstore dollars but I still got 2 sets (even though I do NOT need more makeup brushes :lol) because I've always wondered about them.

I'm exceptionally cheap but now I have plantar fasciitis and a slight bunion forming and my feet hurt so bad that I have to buy different shoes.

I got the new black fashion star dress. LOVE LOVE LOVE! When I opened it, there were small shoulder pads, which sort of freaked me out...but they make the dress lay so nicely. The dress has a really thick zipper up the back, like industrial strength for a zipper. It looks awesome. I ordered it in a 2 and a 4. Both seem to fit okay, but even the 4 pulls a little at the hips on me. I may try a 6 just to compare. Already, I plan on wearing it to my friend's bachelorette party this weekend, and I may pick it to be the one nice dress I bring to Europe later this month. Seriously, buy this dress before it's gone.

Also, I'm sort of obsessed with the cheeky low-rise swim bottoms with the ruffle from VS. I know I swore off bathing suits this year, but I have acquired those bottoms in all of the basic colors...and a few fun ones . But I've seriously got them in 5 colors.

I have one other review. I don't think I've ever seen the ruffle triangle bikini set reviewed here ever, but I've always wondered about it, since it's probably been on the site for at least 5 years. Well, I ordered it with the style15 code from ALVS and shipping from K (thanks by the way), and I absolutely love it. It's a really thick material, and the top is really well made. It's curved around the bust line, so it lays really nicely. I was a little worried about the way the color would look on me with my red hair and the fact that I'm so fair, but it looked good. I think it would probably look even better on any of you ladies who can tan. Anyway, because I've never seen this bikini reviewed but it's been on the site so long, I just wanted to put it on the radar

Thanks for the ruffled bikini review. I, too, have always wondered about it for years, ever since I saw it way back who knows when. Maybe I'll make the jump when they make the sets separate. It's super cute looking!

i haven't even tried on the polka dot dress. i just thought i'd like it more than the shift dress. now i'm glad i got it when it was cheaper! reviews seem promising and the sleeveless makes my shoulders a non-issue.

thanks for the reviews! how is the triangle top in terms of sizing? i usually buy a S and it works fine, but i tried the other ruffle triangle top and the S was tiny. DH laughed at me.

i think i'd have to size up to M on that top. the bottoms are cute but when i showed DH he said they'd be perfect if the ruffle part wasn't there. men! the cheeky bottoms you linked seem to be less ruffly - maybe he wouldn't mind those as much.

ITA. but then you're the right height for their maxi's - those are just a tad too long for me. express height requirements are annoying!

I thought the top was nice, but it does fit similar to the ruffle one you linked. I have a small in both and like the small in both. I'm sort of surprised you'd want the medium, but I would say the sizing is very similar. The ruffles on the coral bikini set that I reviewed are stiffer, so I think they'll handle better in the water.

If you do ever get that bikini set in M for the top and want to exchange bottoms so you'd have a S and I'd have a M, let me know Usually, I buy medium bottoms because I like a little more coverage, but this bikini is a winner. I can see why it's been on the site for so long.

Also, I agree that I'm the perfect height for express Maxi's. It's weird that I have to go dress-by-dress and check for length, but their longest dresses fit perfect.

The ruched-back cheekies are my favorite swim bottoms. I purchase them first and then find matching tops. I have the majority of colors ever offered.

I didn't do a full review about the ruffle triangle bikini, but Alvs and I discussed awhile ago. I did not order the bottom, but I returned the top because the ruffles are too overwhelming for the Ruched-back bottoms.

I went to sephora last night and was able to swatch the clinique cc creams. Here they are side by side: very light, light, light medium, medium, medium deep. I didn't swatch the last shade, deep. Above was clinique even better makeup in #2 fair.

To me the light medium and medium look about the same depth but medium is pink toned. Light medium and medium deep are more yellow or olive. Light actually seems a bit pink also.
