gilligan & O'malley at target has a bridal collection [target.com] now. it's funny - most pieces are obvious knockoffs of vs but at a much better price point. i actually prefer this, as most brides will only wear those items once. i think this is hilarious tho:

I went to sephora last night and was able to swatch the clinique cc creams. Here they are side by side: very light, light, light medium, medium, medium deep. I didn't swatch the last shade, deep. Above was clinique even better makeup in #2 fair.

To me the light medium and medium look about the same depth but medium is pink toned. Light medium and medium deep are more yellow or olive. Light actually seems a bit pink also.

Too funny...I wonder if they will get slapped with a lawsuit from VS.

No, I agree with you. I think the partially tucked look looks really sloppy. I haven't seen a regular person do it in public. However, when really thin girls do it on TV, I think it looks good on them, but the ensemble has to be right.

I got the new black fashion star dress. LOVE LOVE LOVE! When I opened it, there were small shoulder pads, which sort of freaked me out...but they make the dress lay so nicely. The dress has a really thick zipper up the back, like industrial strength for a zipper. It looks awesome. I ordered it in a 2 and a 4. Both seem to fit okay, but even the 4 pulls a little at the hips on me. I may try a 6 just to compare. Already, I plan on wearing it to my friend's bachelorette party this weekend, and I may pick it to be the one nice dress I bring to Europe later this month. Seriously, buy this dress before it's gone.

Also, I'm sort of obsessed with the cheeky low-rise swim bottoms with the ruffle from VS. I know I swore off bathing suits this year, but I have acquired those bottoms in all of the basic colors...and a few fun ones : ). But I've seriously got them in 5 colors.

I have one other review. I don't think I've ever seen the ruffle triangle bikini set reviewed here ever, but I've always wondered about it, since it's probably been on the site for at least 5 years. Well, I ordered it with the style15 code from ALVS and shipping from K (thanks by the way), and I absolutely love it. It's a really thick material, and the top is really well made. It's curved around the bust line, so it lays really nicely. I was a little worried about the way the color would look on me with my red hair and the fact that I'm so fair, but it looked good. I think it would probably look even better on any of you ladies who can tan. Anyway, because I've never seen this bikini reviewed but it's been on the site so long, I just wanted to put it on the radar

I am all about the skater dresses and the fit and flare dresses this season! I probably have 8 of the regular skater dresses. They are amazing! I can't wait to try the strapless ones, either!! I really want the blue one : )

Also, it's ridiculous. We are expecting snow this weekend. I have an entire closet full of dresses ready to be worn!!

As a side note, I wonder if express fixed the birthday code glitch entirely or if there will be a new one this month...we should try to track one down, but I don't see any listed on eBay. Hmmmm...

are you really that pink toned? it doesn't seem to show up as much in the photo but i didn't like the undertone of medium at all. actually i think they all run pink, which is why i've been mixing the light with the light medium (light medium looks like a good match for me but the beige ness just makes my skin look weird).

it's pretty moisturizing. i always put a very light moisturizer/serum underneath anything i wear. my face never felt dry wearing the cc cream and sometimes felt oily. i always err on the side of oily bc i'd rather my face be oily (i can blot) than dry (that causes flakes and sometimes pimples for me).

Do the fabric Blustery shoes break in easily? I got mine today. The 5 is a little big, but a foot petal may fix that. It's really uncomfortable right now. My heels would be raw in no times. I don't mind wearing mole skin to break them in, if they will eventually soften up & feel more comfortable.
