also, i saw these wedge sandals [target.com] at my target for 50% off ($15). i tried them on and thought they were cute and not that uncomfortable, except i almost sprained my ankle due to the platform. laugh out loud i immediately took them off. worth a look though if you like tall platform sandals! target store clearances are always YMMV unfortunately.

i have read that before, and decided not to hem Teehee i am not bothered by tucking in skinny jeans or jeggings. i'm glad cuffing is back on trend.

i can see all her pieces, esp blazers, fit her perfectly, and i realized she gets many of them altered. i'm against altering, just because i get stuff for cheap, it makes alterations seem pricier.

my MIL makes samples for BCBG and other brands... (she works in a warehouse where all they do is sew) i really should make better use of my newfound tailor! laugh out loud hehe i feel bad so i haven't asked her to do anything yet. maybe after our 1 yr anniv i can start...? Scratchchin it's very true tho - i'm so preoccupied with finding things that fit me that i forget that you can MAKE things fit you by altering. i used to take my designer denim to get hemmed at a tailor - now i just don't buy designer denim. problem solved!

Good idea. My memory is horrible, so I told DH what I bought. Hopefully, he'll remember.

You've put together a great gift for you MIL. Your DH, BIL, & FIL owe you. Make them pay dearly. Evillaugh

I tuck skinny jeans too. Regular jeans have to be the right length or I return them. Like you, I don't think it's worth paying for alterations on cheap clothes. I only have my expensive pieces professionally tailored.

When I first saw the trend of a top being partially tucked it, I thought it was a way to hide an awkward hemline on the models. Recently, I saw it on a tv show. I noticed the woman in that blog did it too. Am I the only one that thinks it makes you look partially put together like you didn't have time to tuck your shirt in & just ran out the door? Maybe I'm showing my age again. Embarrassment

It would probably make her feel good that you felt comfortable enough with her to ask for help.

I either wear boots over them or buy the correct length. I'm picky about my jean hem. I know that's crazy.

No, I agree with you. I think the partially tucked look looks really sloppy. I haven't seen a regular person do it in public. However, when really thin girls do it on TV, I think it looks good on them, but the ensemble has to be right.

Interesting turn of events...it seems that the 90-day refund policy no longer applies to non-VS Angel Cards. I returned something a year old, and I received a credit to my CC instead of the merchandise GC. Still receiving merchandise GCs for VS CC orders over 90 days.

It could have been a fluke though. We shall see...

this has happened to me as a fluke before. it'd be nice if it was always refunded to gc.

went to nords to try the tb shoes on. i was surprised that 1) they do not seem to run small like reviews say and 2) they all felt somewhat comfy. i was expecting not to like them. the sally 2 wedge heel was pretty comfy and was actually a little loose on me in 7.5. i could fit my foot into a 6.5 reva (but it was tight so i'd probably still get 7.5). also, revas aren't on sale at nords anymore?? weren't they JUST on sale? what's going on? Sadwalk

so... black or tan wedge? i have lots of black and no tan, but there's a reason i have so much black stuff... and i'm not actually sure what to wear the tan with.

oh, i also tried the miller patent sandal and it was ouch city. i couldn't wait to get it off. unless you don't have bones on the top of your feet i would suggest you not get this sandal, as the emblem crushes your bones and rubs against them. ouch! i do have a somewhat high arch tho.
