I had to borrow some of dh's luggage weight when we went to Miami. The shoes had to go in his suitcase Teehee .

When does it end?
i do that too. i always end up putting more things into DH's luggage. or we'll have 2 luggages and i'll use up 1.5 of it.

i used to be much much worse. then i went on a couple of backpacking trips where i packed really light and did so well. i am slowly moving towards way overpacking again though. i can do a better job packing concisely... if i spent about 3 weeks packing. laugh out loud doing it in a week, i end up throwing a lot of stuff in at the last minute "just in case".

i'm not sure - tomorrow or wed. i'll prob break down and order clinique later.

at least the fs with clothing pin seemed to work ok.

I have a swing bag in blue leather. I love it. Found it at saks for $130. Thought that was a great price!

I love minkoff totes. I like tb too but she's gotten so popular. I like to be different!

OMG those look like an accident waiting to happen. i'd be almost 6 feet in them! Faint

i ordered these:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/S/vince...p/3431225?

been on a pump kick lately and i'm still looking for the perfect pair of comfy pumps. i have black suede peep toe now that's fairly comfy (tested out that amazon gel insole and it did a great job - made the 1/2 size too big shoe fit me well enough that it stopped slipping off my foot) but still no full black pump. they look a bit tall but i'm Pray that they'll be comfy.

I got some Express trouser shorts and I really like them! I got the panama beige, but I think the color is vomit otherwise, excellent fit! I highly recommend! I thought the rise would be lower. It's not low rise, but mid rise. They are pretty easy to tug down though and if I lose some weight, they would be low rise Big Grin

The 2" was perfect for me! Whee

Good point! I'm already an accident waiting to happen. Good thing they don't make my size!

Love those! VC makes awesome shoes!

hi all, i havent shopped for VS bras for a while so im a little lost and wish someone could help. My fav everyday bra used to be the Ipex, which is no longer available. I was wondering which would be more similiar to it, the Fabulous or the showstopper? I'm aiming towards those two cause im not a fan of the Body by Victoria fabric (seems like it wont stand many washes). Any opinion/suggestion/recommendation would be greatly appreciated!!
My thoughts are that the Showstopper is much more like the IPEX. Although I love love the Fabulous, there's significant padding, which is something that you may not want since you liked the IPEX. Just my thoughts.

Sorry to hear that about the BBV bras. I have one from around 2004 that's one of my daily bras and it's held up really well. Even in the washer. I only have 2 or so of the new ones, so I'm kind of scared now...

i got to wear my white/black bandage dress, striped maxi (ny&co), bronze lace top with black bandage dress this weekend. i also wore my polka dot portofino and tulip back rolled sleeve shirt. i think i got the most compliments for the portofino. laugh out loud the bronze lace bandage dress was great though - comfy for a night out but also sexy with a push up (plus you can wear a regular bra).
Welcome back! Whee Goodness, a lot of people like the portofino!

No, it does not. I tried around the time when the certs were active and I couldn't get it to work.

laugh out loud I see that happening the more I travel to Seattle. The first few trips, I was really careful and meticulous, but I've just been packing the night or two before and just end up throwing in a lot of stuff that I never even needed. Makeup included shake head

Gotta load my cart! I tried to tell DBF to not buy any shirts until the Memorial Day sale, but he did not listen shake head It's not like he needed those shirts right now. Men! Crazy

i was wondering if people were having issues. i remember the 2 day code overcharging before.
I am also passing on this code lest I be charged for shipping. And yes, that happened to me, on 2 of my previous orders. I'm staying away!

The weight is more about me wanting to be able to be self-sufficient in case of _fill_in_the_blank__ Blush . This is my overthinking (I'm not judging any of you, this is my own self-guilt) - I don't want to be a burden and I don't want to put myself ahead of anyone else's needs just b/c I can't make a decision on what to bring. DH & I had a chat about this not too long ago and he mentioned that he struggles to pack b/c his clothes are so much bigger than mine - for him to pack a pair of shoes - it's almost a no go, and his pants/shorts take up a ton of room. With all that considered, I look at DH trying to fit into the same size suitcase as mine, and think about how much more I can bring than him - so I'll allow myself that. Now if it's a road trip... all bets are off! Girly Teehee
I never understood that until DBF started complaining a lot about having to bring nice shoes down to visit me. I figured, I can bring 3-4 pairs, why can't he bring just one? We ended up getting him a pair for him to keep down here so when we go out, he wouldn't have to bring a bigger suitcase just to fit those shoes. And sometimes, that bigger suitcase doesn't fit in the overhead shake head

Thanks for the help. I'm going to order the first pair for sure. What do you think about these http://www.victoriassecret.com/sa...earch=true ? My black jeans I wear regularly are starting to fade. You're making me wonder if I should order a 2 or 4 in VS jeans. Most of my size 2 Express jeans fit perfectly. I definitely couldn't wear a smaller size. I only have one pair that are big, & I don't like wearing them. My VS Eva shorts from last year are 2s. How does the sizing of those compare to their jeans? I want to be able to zip them, w/o having to lay on the bed. Stick Out Tongue
I really do like the Siren [victoriassecret.com], nerdi is right, but I go for the low rise.

I wear 0 in Express Stella and 2 in VS Siren fits me perfectly! Maybe you should go with size 4 in VS jeans if you are Size 2 Express. But like nerdi says, jeans all fit us differently. You could try both sizes.

I've never tried the Eva shorts, but for reference, I'm also a 2 in the boyfriend cutoff shorts. There is nothing "boyfriend" or slouchy about the fit for me.

i'll wait for red to chime in about the mem day sale... i have no idea. i just got my minus leather white tweed jacket from tick tock that i ordered with reward. i do love the fit of that jacket the best - since i get S it's usually a little wide for me but this one fits me well. Smilie (kurpee now where are we with the count? laugh out loud) i haven't bothered to try on the tanks yet. hope they fit!
the white tweed does run small. i lost count on mine too. i think i have 3. the wool one does not count, it's just collar that's leather.

Too bad it's not $12 like the instore leopard bag of the same dimensions.. Frown
I love the polka dot print, but I agree with you. The shapes of the B&M leopard cosmetic bags are better. I purchased the smaller B&M bag with a SRC. Oh, how I would have prefered the polka dot.

that is a great idea with the dress shoes for down here! it is a pain to travel with men's dress shoes.

white tweed sizing seems to be made for me. i'm glad there is a little disparity so that i can have a perfect one too! Smilie

my wool coat had knit collar rather than minus the leather, so there is no overlap there. laugh out loud but i think i have 4 jackets now... clay, black peplum, ivory asymmetrical, and white tweed.

i'm so glad you got one for which there is no trade-off on the fit Whee
maybe we don't have to count the tweed because only the sleeves is leather Teehee
