my lace back kimono dress at vs dropped down to $50. with cert, angels reward, and perfume reward card (and fs with clothing) i got it for $15. woot

i got this dress [nyandcompany.com] in size 0 and it fits me perfectly. very flattering dress and comes all the way down to the knees. however, the puffed sleeves look a little funny. that combined with the sharp diamond cut of the neckline is too much for me i think. DH called it lady gaga. Ermm i think i am going to return.

the chambray shirtdress [nyandcompany.com]: this fit very oddly - it was very puffed out up top but the bottom skirt part was ok. overall it wasn't very flattering. i thought my wide shoulders and taller figure could pull it off, but the dress was made for someone with a longer torso than me or something.

I'm too cheap to pay for a checked bag so cheapskate, more so than discipline laugh out loud It's easier for the HI trip b/c it's warm definitely, but also we go every year so I know what to expect. The unknown makes me anxious and I just freeze up and DH is like - "we have to leave for the airport NOW" I feel so bad for him. I'm doing better with it, but I still stay up all night the night before we fly trying to force myself to make a decision on what to bring. Embarrassment

I hope they work for you, if not, and what Azn said is right, return them and they'll return the $10 credit to you and you can try another pair Smilie

Now, you're probably not going to believe this...but when DH used to go to TX every week (Mon PM - F), he would only take his backpack (stuffed w/ laptop, headphones, etc) and THIS TEENY THING [ebags.com] . When I would pick him up at the airport at the end of the week, he was smelling pretty ripe. He had the right # of undergarments but was reusing pants (and shirts? Dontknow )Thankfully he has upgraded to a larger carry-on. He would really rather carry more tech gear than more clothes. He used to bring a guitar with him so he would he could practice while he was away. For the HI trip, he had about 75lbs of carry-ons b/w the tech stuffed backpack and all the camera equipment. I end up carrying that stuff half the time so I guess he's the over packer Roll

Jeez, just caught up with the tragedy in Moore, OK. The first images I saw looked so bad- just nothing left and the last I heard the death toll was at 10, now it's over 50 Frown It sounds like they're upgrading it to an EF-5? So sad, so devastating. Hopeful stories will follow soon though ... with amazing feats of ordinary people. They always do. Smilie

yeah i placed a largish order at nords yesterday too. i've been curious about those vc pumps for awhile! so glad i found them when they still had all sizes! only thing i didn't get was clinique.

lace back dress [victoriassecret.com]: i got it awhile ago at full price and thought it was too $$ for full price. but i was able to stack cert and new angels reward (it looks like they must have changed their programming to allow it) with FS code and also had that reward card from perfume. it's a really pretty dress. wish i had kept my original one now to wear kuz i prob won't get the new one before this weekend.

that's the only toebox shape i can wear (that or rounder, or square). i Pray it's not too high for me but i know it's a stretch and i may have to return it eventually.

what is it about men and backpacks? my DH does his travels up north with a backpack. it's not a whole week, but he now stays 2 nights, and also needs to bring laptop which takes up a substantial amount of room in that backpack (it's not a very large one).

oh, i just got that cheapy clutch. in 3 colors i think (i couldn't choose). i got the pump in 2 sizes since reviews say it runs small. i placed a shoe order last week! got these that i really like:

Love both. I love tall platforms. Good way for me to add height without and super high incline. It's kind of like cheating Teehee.

i'm taller than DH in those i think. tall platforms make it hard for me to balance so i have a harder time. better than a heel that high without a platform, definitely, but i just don't need to be that tall. shake head i like the shape tho and it's comfy - the color is interesting (it was "grape" but it leans blue). the jessica simpson ones are great tho! only 3", pretty comfy, and nude-ish - it will be my dressy summer sandal of choice. Those look really comfy.

I can balance fine in heels. Wedges with skinny bottoms are hard for me. I'd rather wear stilettos any day than a wedge with a skinny bottom.
