N/M I see Porda got an email.

DH did a VS mall return. The computer was down. They wrote down the info manually & told him the refund would take 10 - 14 days. Annoyed

do you like chicken? i like butter chicken... :yum my: your lamb dish sounds like a curry to me though, except made with butter and cream. i would just look at the new restaurant's menu and try to find a description similar. i'm not used to "butter masala" - it's not something i usually see i think.

saag is different - it's a weird mushy green/yellow color:

and is often made with cheese (saag paneer) but you may see it paired with other meats. definitely worth a try!

what foundation do you :hea rt: at the moment? i think if your skin is darker, foundation can look cakey if it's lighter than your skin. the rule is probably just - find one that matches - anything drastically different will look off. i like to do 2-tone if i have time - lighter in the center of my face and darker around the sides and down my neck. but most of the time i'm far too lazy - today i'm only wearing bb cream.
Yep, I like chicken. I ordered lamb, because I hadn't eaten it in awhile. My DH ordered goat. Now that I've had both recently, I would probably order chicken. Seafood/fish & chicken are my usual proteins of choice. Your picture looks like spinach dip. drool

At the moment, I'm using Estee Lauder Double Wear Light. I may switch to something else, when it's gone. I'm currently on the lookout for a good, finely milled powder. Any suggestions? I wish R&R still sold powder.

My dd called she is worried about her midterm today in math, she did not do well on the last one and has a D+ and needs to pass this one, so if you all here could think good thoughts and say a little prayer for her I would appreciate it.
I hope she did great. hug

If anyone needs to know more shoot me a PM. I have Indian food blog too :lo l:

I am going on vacay for 10 days starting this Saturday :wh ee:
That was me. Wave I'd love a link to your blog.

It sounds like you have a great vacation planned. Have fun with your friends.

Alvs, I read your post about moving next summer. Where are you moving?
Chicago. I'm kind of scared. I hate the cold with a passion. I want back in the south where it's hotter.

hehehe i guess it does look like spinach dip. doesn't taste anything like it, but definitely worth trying. yummy

imo good powders are pretty easy to come by. most of the ones i've used are good. R&R is one that has very little coverage - meaning not very much color payoff. it is definitely very fine tho. one that has more coverage is Cargo Bluray - you might be able to do the #10 (lightest color). it always seems to blur things and i feel like i look better with that powder. other than that, i currently have a Lorac powder and a Cinema Secrets loose setting powder, but I mostly forget to use powder. DH just threw stuff in the wash! Jawdrop Well- some of that too- First we're flying up to North CA, then we load up for a Memorial Day road trip w/ camping. One of those annoying situations where things you need (tent, sleeping bags, etc.) take up valuable "I don't know what I want to wear so I'll take everything" space Wacko

There will be a sale again! I'd guess July 4th, then after that- Labor Day in Sept. Smilie (with some Tick Tock's thrown in between)

I have. They are terrible. It's satiny material. I thought they would be soft knit fabric or something.

So be warned, satin, hard to move in, thin, and just plain terrible. But I don't know, maybe you like satin for shorts. I sure don't. shake head
...
are you sure you tried those and not the 2 1/2 extended tab shorts [express.com]? those look more shiny to me from the photos - i can't see the satin material from the photos of the soft shorts! ugh, i know... i should just go to a store to see. i think i would like the extra 1/2 inch length, that's all, and all the reviews talk about how soft they are... i want soft shorts too! laugh out loud anyway thanks for the warning.

i don't have to pack until tomorrow, and we're driving. phew! laugh out loud (throws everything into suitcases)

It is hard to incorporate my printed shorts to my travel outfits. I wanted as many pieces as possible to mix and match. Printed shorts can only be worn with plain tops in certain colors. While jeans and plain neutrals are very versatile. I'm thinking of leaving the 2 pairs of printed shorts behind now because of this.

My closet is very messy Facepalm

I actually have worn out clothing! I'm so proud of myself when I do! Then I just pick up the same one in another color and BAM! I don't need to shop for something else shake head But that's probably just the crazy talking.

I know how you feel about all the new colors. That really kills me so much. I'm almost afraid to ask what tank...
It's the super basic ribbed tank from vs pink! I like how saturated the colors are drool It's not the best fit on my stomach but a bombshell bra balances things out LMAO

How am I supposed to pack when you keep asking questions and you know I can't resist trying to help?! Chairbash

I have the 2" trouser shorts in 0, but 2 would have also worked (there was not a big size difference in the waist, only leg holes seemed smaller). They are 98% cotton and I have not washed them yet so I may come to regret getting the smaller size, but they feel quite stretchy too so Dontknow Even in the smaller size, the shorts stayed at my hips. I think you'd be fine with 2 but now I'm getting scared w/ all the sizing advice I'm giving, hope I don't steer anyone wrong! Hide I think GH tried these shorts too and may be able to comment.
do you get express emails early or something? i don't get them early... Sadwalk

i guess i will just have to try many sizes of the shorts! but it'll probably be between 2 and 4 for me since i'm usually in between 0 and 2 at express and i like to size up for shorts. if i ever make it to the store i'll try a 6 just for kicks. Smilie thanks for all your help!

it's quiet in here. when will stacking start?

Yep, I'm 100% sure. It does have that sheen to it, but not super shiny like that one picture of the other shorts. The fabric is just not shorts appropriate for me. It's very slip-like and just Yuk It's very clingy. I bet static would make it worse. It exposes all my flaws and just a big no. I wanted the "soft shorts" for lounging around the house, but these are not for lounging purposes. They're really thin. Can easily see panty line unless a thong is worn.

laugh out loud I love basic tanks and tees! I like the cotton ribbed one - the one on clearance now. I hope they keep making it!

Thanks for the powder suggestions. I'll try Cargo. Where's the cheapest place to get it? I have to wear powder or my face gets shiny. I also set it with UD's makeup setting spray.

If you're late, you can blame him. Evil Scratch throwing everything in the car. You can use my backup plan. Go shopping in N. Cali. to buy all the stuff you didn't have time to pack.

The sailor shorts are so cute. The color (pitch black) I really want is only available in the linen version. I guess I'll pass. Sadwalk They may have been too short for me anyway.

I just talked DH into going down to N. Miami Sat. - Tues. instead of tomorrow - Sun. to give me more time to pack. laugh out loud My knee isn't cooperating, so I had a good excuse to wait a couple days to go.

Got my limited order. Actually like this dress! [thelimited.com] I wasn't sure kuz of the bad reviews but it's pretty.

Got a 0 kuz 2 wasn't available and I think it works! Now I just have to figure out somewhere to wear it to. Most of the weddings I go to are Chinese... I hope we get invited to a non-Chinese one!

Also ordered bracelet watch... But I think it may be a little big for my wrist.
