I have already put together my resume and updated it. But I have absolutely no idea how to go about finding another job. My industry is so specific, my skill set so specialized and geared towards the industry - gosh, it just makes me want to cry thinking about how hard it's going to be to change careers at 31 years old, having spent the last 8 years in a very specific type of job. Down


I'm only 5'8"!! laugh out loud And thankfully my apartment has a garden tub. Normal bathtubs make me feel like a sardine in a can. Seriously.

I can't even put a longer tub in my bathroom without knocking down a wall and moving plumbing. It will probably make more sense to put a fancy one in whenever I have the downstairs bathroom added. Multiple shower heads, too.

I don't like how the Amazon Betterizer only has options for Like and Not Interested. It brings up movies I haven't seen yet, so I don't know if I like them, and I'm interested in seeing them, just not interested enough to pay $20.

Yeah, what I do is probably the most similar to a Billing/Accounting type of position. Unfortunately, it doesn't involve the same kinds of programs/software that Accountants typically use. Not knowing the most basic Accounting software puts me at a huge disadvantage. I really cannot afford an entry-level position, regardless what field it's in.

But I will tell you this. I just pulled up my resume, and I'm updating it right now based on my current job description (adding in anything that sounds really great) and I'm going to upload it to Monster when I'm done. And I'm gonna do some job searches. Yay.
