I stopped my 401k contributions because of the new taxes, and I'm still seeing $80 less per paycheck. Who knew that I was rich when they said the rich needed to be taxed more? I must be rolling in the dough. Annoyed

I thought that was fallout from the fiscal cliff decision and was affecting everyone with a 2% increase in payroll taxes (through not renewing a temporary tax cut) Dontknow

Pardon me if the facts get in the way of you feeling persecuted.

It was . . . they increased the payroll tax from 4.2 to 6.2 percent. The media never covered it from what I saw.
