I was walking up to get a drink, and he asked how it was going, and I just kinda raised my hand and nodded my head, and as I was walking past I heard him say something like "what was that?"
Then we passed each other again (he was with a group) and he said "look, there he is again!" and I just bowed and did that fancy thing where you touch your forehead and spiral your hand around, deliberately didn't say anything just to keep it up. We didn't meet again, though.

I haven't gotten a response, but now that you mention it, I checked and she hasn't been online since she emailed me.
I was working on Rainbow Connection earlier. The singing part is fairly easy, but it's got some just sadistic chord changes in it (I've played it before, but never terribly well).
I did almost develop a semi-rivalry with some dude at the ren fest, and thought I might have to go there

J plays guitar and what he lacks in technical skill he makes up with confidence. Or was that a bottle of Jack!
Worked with the kidlets on my mom's Mother's Day gift. El Jay & No-ey used scrapbook flower punches to get us started then it was time for beads and stick pins. Mini wanted to hop to on this part so the boys were separated by the baby gate. OMG the wailing and gnashing of teeth was laughable at best. So we obliged and let them in by the "dangerous" crafts. El Jay promised just to look. Soon enough his hand was in the glass bowl of beads and some scattered.
Mini: No bubba, watch BaBa, please don't touch.
El Jay: But I just want to help BaBa.
Me: Right now we need to get this done, please don't hinder the progress.

She gave me the best
