I suppose no truck would make it a hassle. My last set (free) fit in the back of my station wagon.
You have a better chance of them realizing there's a message that says, "Your password will expire in 1 day" than realizing there's a break key.

I'm looking at Samsung currently. They look pretty and shiny.

I could do that, but the fallout much resembles celibacy, and that's a road I'm not willing to take...

I heart my Samsung washer/dryer! But I was able to pick them up on clearance at Best Buy.

I need a good deal on a good dishwasher that includes free delivery and installation. I don't think my dishwasher is going to last much longer.

Don't encourage him! Smack SDers should never pay full price for an appliance. I'd get one off of CL for $100 and tell her to wait it out.
Black Friday isn't the only day you can get deals. Whatever happened to sales, clearance, floor models, negotiation... He can use his SD toolbox to get a deal in May Rock

Quote from Putz1103 :
That could work, but that's a lot of shuffling with out a truck to shuffle with. Our last set was craigslist and it's lasted almost 4 years. It seems like time for something more reliable/pretty/I can show all my friends and impress them with my indebtedness.

HOLY.CRAP!

The kids would appreciate it if I finally did something with our dishwasher. It's a "portable", and it makes a terrible, terrible noise when you try to run it. I understand I could probably pick up a built-in on CL and convert it using the parts from this one, but that seems like a lot more work than telling the kids to wash the dishes.

'07-'09. A black Volvo, turbocharged, tinted windows. For some reasons cops loved to pull it over (I never got an actual ticket in it).

No room in your kitchen for a built-in?

Wilbur (the actor guy trying to get in my MIL's pants) bought us one of those portable counter top ones one year when we lived in the hundred year old house. It was noisy as shit, but it was better than doing them by hand. Our built in in the new house is pretty loud, too. I wouldn't mind having a nice quiet one.

We have a nice quiet dishwasher, but it takes forever to wash the dishes. We start it before we go to bed and don't worry about how long it takes.

I don't really have enough cupboard space to give any up. A built-in could potentially go where the portable sits currently (holding the microwave laugh out loud), the bathtub is on the other side of that wall so I imagine the water/drain lines could be tapped into from there.

I can't really give up any counter space either. The kitchen is large, but not well-designed (the house is 123 years old, I don't believe the kitchen was part of the original floorplan).

Best buy has 18 months no interest and 10% off, but I was hoping for more than 10%. Appliance Smart is roughly 13% off. Still not amazing. Although, if I get last years model from best buy it's 20% off, but it will take at least 7 days to get here (and I don't have enough clothes to cover that).

Who is the "we" you are referring to if your wive is doing the dishes? And how do you keep her so quiet?

You couldn't go to the laundry mat for one day?
