Ok, vvise vviles. I have a medical quandary for you. Several years ago I went to the emergency room with an allergic reaction to something as you probably know, and the amount of steroids made me swell up -- my face in particular. This swelling has never gone away. Now I've been on antibiotics for three or four weeks, and before this I have only been on them for a couple of days at a time since going to the ER. Last night the ginger looked at me and said my face looks like it did 10 years ago. Sure enough, the "swelling" in my face, stomach, and hands is gone. Do you think the steroids could have caused or hidden an infection that I've had for almost a decade and is being cleared up by the antibiotics?

When I was a kid, I had a huge infection that gave me a constant headache.. For about 2 years.
The doctors never found out.. Eventually, I got another infection in my ear. The antibiotics cleared both of them. There was evidence of an infection in my head, but I won't give details as it is pretty gross
Not to stir paranoia, but a lot of doctors don't really do a thorough exam and really don't want to do any problem solving. They just want to give the fast answer and keep the exam rooms turning over to maximize profit.
I don't mind the flavor of onions, but they don't get along with my digestive system well.
