I went on a date tonight. My sister watched the girls for me. She told them I had a meeting at work. So after the date I went to pick them up and I'm in a dress. My youngest says " you weren't at a meeting cause you are all pretty" I laughed and said "why can't I be pretty all the time?" I think they are getting a little old to fool anymore.
I swear I only took 3 baby bird bites.
Maybe that is what caused the issues with El Jay.
But it was not obvious to anyone at that point that L had shown up to see me specifically.
And D left before it was over, again. There are a few talented female singers there, but none of them make me melt the way she does. There were a bunch of people singing along when I did Piano Man, including D
L... well, there's no immediate physical attraction. She's easy to talk to, so there's that. I could see hanging out, and maybe having a little fun, but off the bat I don't really see a relationship there.
That also leads me to something else, it came up that I was in the Air Force, and she thanked me for my service. I'm never sure what to say to that, because I really don't feel like I deserve any thanks for it, but people insist on saying it. I guess I could start saying "you're welcome" but I don't know if I can make it sound genuine.
