Not if I can help it! If it goes longer than that, I can get someone to drop another one in or take care of them while I'm gone. Not a huge deal. They're pretty self-sustaining (aside from food), not like a dog or hamster or anything.

If you are involved in an accident and come in on a backboard we typically end up cutting your clothes off anyway.

laugh out loud I cannot tell you how many times women have been on backboards and in c-spine collars saying please don't cut that it came from VS and it was expensive. . .if the accident is that serious it's cut anyway.
