Iagree

i have never had such an emotional reaction to a TV show in my life. i wasn't just shedding a tear or two during that final 15 minutes of the series finale. i was full-on sobbing, and i felt like a part of my life was ending. it sounds crazy, i know. but if you've seen the show, and you watched it from beginning to end, then you probably know what i'm talking about and can relate just a little bit.

Completely agree. It was like losing family, no exaggeration.

That was one of the other things that came up. L said at first she had been worried she was going to corrupt me. Apparently I had initially come across as "innocent and wholesome". My, how I chuckled at that.

It really is mostly the initial contact with someone that gives me the most trouble.

I messaged her, she told me to come meet her for drinks, ended up back at her place, 2nd base, seen each other a few times since, but we're "friends". She's polyamorous, already has a primary.

That's because they live in Texas.

Dammit Annoyed
I called the stringed instrument place to make sure they'd be open. No answer, and generic answering machine with no info. Googled them again, and sure enough, on the right side of the screen it says "Closed Monday". I couldn't find any listing of hours on their site.
Still going to call again after noon to double check, since it lists 12-5PM as their hours for Tues-Fri. If they're closed, I'll probably head home after work to drop off the guitar and give the doggies some attention before the date.
