Sounds like the NHL and NHLPA finally agreed on a deal.

Now who's ready for some hockey??

I'm glad Howard's naysayers are finally shutting up.

Detroit's still going to have to win one more vs Chicago, then face (probably) a streaking LA team yet again. They've got their work cut out for them, but until they've lost 4 games in a round, you can never count Detroit out.

I'm pissed the Rangers came back and won last night. Eff them.

I think the Wings can do it. I keep saying articles saying we "stole" all these games, but this Redwings team isn't the same one that was playing in the regular season. If they'd been playing like this in the regular season, they'd probably have been the #2 seed. It's not just luck anymore. I think, given the performance of the last 3 games (outscoring the presidents cup team 9-2 in 3 games), that the wings are just playing better than the blackhawks.

Both teams are about equal on skill, but the Redwings have the benefit of having veterans to keep them calm when they lose a game or go down a few goals. Hawks don't have that, and they're clearly not sure how to react to so much adversity.

Perfect example of why I think Wings will win. The difference in leadership.

Blargh, I haven't been around in awhile. The Bruins better knock out the Penguins. I can't handle them going to the finals. (Note that I say Bruins because there's no way in hell NYR is coming back to win the series).

Did anybody watch game 4 between LA/SJ? That was the most embarrassing thing I have ever seen. The Kings looked like a pee wee team out there in the 1st. But even though they were terrible, the game should have really been tied and gone to OT, and they only lost by 1. All hail Jonathan Quick? And then last night's game was a complete 180. Best game their whole postseason, where they actually showed up for all three periods.

I can't figure this team out. And now we're up 3-2 when we probably shouldn't be. Really, Quick is the only reason we're still in. That guy is magic.

lol, Toews completely lost it that game. And the game before, Cleary was entirely in Bickell's head. The Wings are winning mentally, which is why they're up 3-1. IMO.

I figured the Wings were due for a letdown tonight but man they just look downright sloppy at times in this game.

So... farking... close.... I knew as soon as I stopped doubting them they'd choke. But maybe we can just close this out at home on monday.

Kings are looking pretty good, but the penalties needs to stop and we need to win more faceoffs. 3rd period should be a good one.

That's twice in this series that Toews has failed to tag up, offsides is not called, and a goal results.

I guess giving that penalty shot may have technically been correct but to me I think it was weak enough that it shouldn't have been called in such a big playoff game. Tough to be impartial as a Wings fan though.

But the missed offsides calls are objective, not subjective...so rage about those.

Did you just see on NBC where they just explained why that one wasn't offsides? I didn't catch what they said but they were just talking about it and the non-call was correct apparently.

Yeah. I guess I can let a little rage go. I'm glad I didn't throw the remote at the TV or anything.

Shit. That last goal by the Wings was great but too little too late at that point. I really wanted this series to end tonight because I start afternoon shift tomorrow and won't even be able to watch the last game. Might not even be able to listen on the radio. Ranting
