Most items are not 90% off; in electronics at least. For example it will be listed under 90% off category, normal price 10.99, sale price 8.99 (definitely no 90% off). And on top of that the 8.99 price can be easily beat by a google search.
Many products are on sale, however, so be sure to check the various links. There are definitely some really good deals!

Or, the more common, amazon is counting preowned/used price as the base (not including shipping), so it's $0.01 + $5 shipping (on a $5 item), so 99% off.

While Amazon LLC. is probably the best way to go, reading reviews can lead to good deals. I found this Amazon approved seller [amazon.com] that shows no sign of selling knock-offs. So I'm happy paying 19 bucks for a 32gb micro sd card from them, and they're prime eligible as well!
