Rain should be changing to snow in a few hours...first snow of the season. woot

They're expecting around 3" (twss Frown )...maybe more, maybe less.

Best comment heard yesterday about the winter weather and the fact that schools were already announced to be closed today in the Triangle:

"quick, run and get milk, eggs and bread - so you can make French Toast"

I drove to work with AM and yes, there was some snow in the front yards. I guess the term smattering of snow comes to mind.

We got maybe 1.5"...very slippery on the roads coming into work. I really should have an ice scraper on hand - the truck I drove to work sits outside and it took a while to clear the snow off the windshield, with a combination of the defroster and a broom. laugh out loud

We went from expecting 5 inches of snow during Tuesday night's forecast to not even a snowflake last night. Weather guys blew that one.
