Disgruntled ex-LAPD officer writes a manifesto detailing how (allegedly) the LAPD is corrupt. He then starts a war with LAPD. He's rather specific with the (alleged) corruption details in his manifesto.
Apparently, the LAPD has already shot up at least two vehicles "matching the description" of the ex-cop's vehicle. The LAPD is randomly shooting up suspected vehicles (and people!)? What?
Here's the manifesto:

LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Thousands of police officers throughout Southern California and Nevada hunted Thursday for a former Los Angeles officer who was angry over his firing and began a deadly shooting rampage that he warned in an online posting would target those on the force who wronged him, authorities said.

Los Angeles officers guarding a "target" named in the posting shot and wounded multiple people in Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. The extent of their injuries was not released. It's not clear if the target is a person or a location. The Daily Breeze in Torrance also reports (http://urlhasbeenblocked/YWhBLi ) that there was another police shooting nearby involving another pickup truck, but the driver wasn't hurt. |

Who knows how many millions of dollars have been spent by the feds and LAPD trying to hunt him down.....
perhaps they should look at terminating the employment of the entire police force when this is over. They're hired to find the bad guys....

I heard that they were Asian, but yeah.... elderly Asians or hispanics get mistaken for very large and obese African Americans all the time.

It was not immediately clear whether Dorner was in custody.
A second source said there was an active crime scene but did not have details.

Not that I wouldn't prefer that.
The newswonks are debating and discussing the meaning of "pinned down" right now.

If I had a brother who was a police officer, he would look a lot like Chris Dorner.
