Welcome to the 62nd edition of our pursuit!
TMPT was started on 10/15/2006 by SD member Afx.
No member has posted in every thread(10K) increments but GG has posted in all but 1.
So far, TMPT has taken 6 years, 5 months, 16 days
The point of this thread is to get to 1,000,000 posts. We do this in 10,000 post increments because the threads need to be closed then (per the administrators). Usually, we have a group that just hangs out and chats, but sometimes it's just one person in the thread, so they entertain themselves. Sometimes we just post smilies if no one else is there (to keep the thread moving in post count). Yes, we realize this is pointless, but 90% of the Lounge is pointless and we harm no one. We'd love to have you join us if you'd like. Thanks for stopping by!

Tired, up too early
I feel a cold coming
I swear, health insurance is the worst... I called, was told I'd be called back in "two minutes" called again 35 minutes later, got a call back 3 hours later, and still haven't heard anything about whether or not I can have more PT visits
As near as I can tell, the clinic I visit submits paperwork to the "group health" unit which is... somewhere. and since it's PT, my insurance company doesn't actually do anything, they've outsourced that function to some other group who just does PT claims. so apparently it takes no less than six separate parties to deal with a PT claim, counting the doctor and the therapist and the different claims specialists on both sides. and no point does anyone bother to tell me, the patient, what the heck is going on
and my prescription meds ran out, I requested a refill over the phone, so I have to hope they ask my clinic and my doctor bothers to respond to the request.
You know they deal with things like this on a regular basis, you'd think PT and such wouldn't be this difficult for them to figure out.
I know I got fed up last year when I just wanted my regular, generic thyroid medicine, and they kept on screwing up the order. I just gave up, and haven't taken it since.
Sounds like it's going around, really.
I had what seemed like a cold, then there was coughing, then I couldn't talk.
Then fiance got it. Same thing only worse - he really couldn't talk at all.
Then his mom and brother got something like it, too.
