is transprotation included? Rules are fairly non existent, makes me wonder about legitimacy of said contest.

If you don't think it is legit please delete. I don't know for sure.

Devoured is the name of the event on Saturday, but you stay in the hotel from Friday - Sunday. So it looks like it just means they drive you to the event "Devoured", not the city of Phoenix. Thanks though!

I think it looks legit despite the fact it looks like they spent 20 seconds writing those rules but just wanted to point out that seems to mean ground transportation to the event from the hotel since it has the date that it would occur next to it [3/9], which is in the middle of the trip. If airfare transportation to get to Phoenix was included, it would have coincided with the hotel dates they listed [3/8 to 3/10].

To show such a detailed itinerary on the entry page but then leave off something as expensive [makes the prize look better!] and important as airfare wouldn't make sense; no mention of it in their wall posts/comments about it either. Considering it's sponsored by a local hotel restaurant and centered around a food event that seems very 'for the locals, by the locals', I can understand why they wouldn't want the hassle/cost of dealing with airfare. Not local for me, unfortunately, but thanks for sharing!

Thanks, looks legit to me. The Royal Palms is an internationally known hotel/resort here in Phoenix. Many US Presidents and celebs have stayed here.

I'm unsure if "The Royal Palms" is actually the sponsor...would seem a business of that caliber would have a professional legal team who could write rules copy for them. I have no idea if this is legit or not, just common sense has shown in the past poorly written rules is usually indicative of that.

Lack of airfare is enough for me to quit on this. Though visiting phoenix does sound fun Big Grin
