Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

So I did good. I thought about them all day trying to figure it out. I have the new rescheduled appt. early tomorrow morning. Hope they do not cancel. Just the first of so many, some are scheduled and some are not. I am still only about 40 percent better.
I hope not also!! It takes a while, just keep getting rest and taking care of yourself Smilie

i hope we can get some kind of prizes from our Bic wins. Like 8 of us won. And I was so happy to come on here early this morning to say that I won "something" and then saw you all did. but I had already posted on the facebook page. The other computer failures were all just for one prize - the gift cards for Delmonte and the costco stuff for coke. These have various nice prizes. Different circumstances. And when the chicken wheel (was it Tyson) broke, it also named which prizes we won. bb in the morning hopefully.

Is it just me or is Camel screwed up. Says I already enetered today and I havent!!
Tommy Bahama never posted winners I do not think, nor rules. I must try to remember to write to them also.

Earlier this afternoon i won something better than a Twix. Have no clue what it is. On Grizzly. and it is - ready? - Uncle Bills Silver Gripper. It is a 2 piece little thing. I will not know what it is until I get it in my hands. Not a nail clipper - maybe a money clip or tweezers, but not sure.
Hope its not a little silver something to grip Unkle Bill!!! laugh out loud

Went to Walmart grocery store tonight. I think they are something just here in Mo but they are usually the best grocery store around. Thats all it is is just a grocer. Was going through the produce and this young girl was putting out new veggies. Wish I had taken a picture. Better yet a video. Poor thing was definitely not a shopper. She put the label of okra onthe zucchini!! $2.69 each!!! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)
Labeled the spaghetti squash as casaba melon and put $4.98 on oranges..... each orange!!!! I asked her why they were so expensive and she said they were special oranges because they had a belly button!!! Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) When I said that should be the price for the bag she said "NO..... the tag says each so thats the price for each orange!!! laugh out loud
Scariest part was... she then picked up a pricing gun!!! I didnt buy any veggies!!! Cashiers will be pi$$ed when the people who did buy them start checking out!!!

Bacon and Peanut Butter Cookies
Ingredients
1 pound bacon
2 1/2 cups flour, unbleached
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
8 tablespoons butter, (1 stick), cubed and softened
1 cup brown sugar, packed
1 cup sugar
1 cup peanut butter, smooth (not natural)
2 large eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups salted peanuts, finely ground in a food processor
Turbinado, OR raw sugar

Cooking Directions

Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Arrange the bacon on jelly roll pans and bake for about 20-30 minutes, flipping each piece halfway through cooking. When all the fat has been rendered and the bacon is very crispy, drain the strips on paper towels. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. Pour the rendered grease into a metal bowl and chill it in the refrigerator (or freezer) until cool and solidified. Stir the grease occasionally to speed the cooling process.

Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a mixing bowl and stir until well combined. Chop the bacon or crumble it by hand into small pieces, about 1/4" square.

Using an electric stand mixer beat the butter until creamy. Mix in 8 tablespoons of the cool bacon fat. Add the sugars and beat until creamy, about 3 or 4 minutes. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula. Beat in the peanut butter until thoroughly combined. Add the eggs, one at a time, and then the vanilla. Scrape down the sides of the bowl again, and then, on low speed, mix in the dry ingredients. Stir in the ground peanuts and bacon until mixed.

Form the dough into golf ball-sized rounds and place them on a sheet pan, spaced about two inches apart. Dip a fork in water and press the tines into the surface of each piece of dough two times, to slightly flatten the cookie and to form a crisscross pattern. Sprinkle the cookies with a generous amount of turbinado sugar.

Bake the cookies, two sheet pans at a time, for about 10-12 minutes, rotating the pans midway through baking. The outer edges of the cookies should only just begin to turn golden while the center of the cookie will still look a bit pale. Let the cookies cool for 2-3 minutes on the sheet pan before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Makes 48

What does it mean when a man is in your bed gasping for breath and calling your name?
You didn't hold the pillow down long enough

MT, not yet......probably gonna take jerking around with up2u for a bit. I've sent the 1st email and we'll see where it goes from here. Plan on calling today.

Mine says it's registered but when I go to up2u the spaces where the card numbers and cvv should be are blank.......no numbers show at all.......although the date I won and my name is there.

I'll keep ya posted when/if I get anywhere....

Good Morning, Congrats on your Hot Tamales

I have problems with Eprize. Took 2 months to get my Coleman prize and it's been 7 months trying to drag my DVD win out of them from Sprite Films and one of my friends won the Yahoo for the big screen with the entertainment center and PS3 and they have been dragging that out since November!!! The companys are good but the people they choose to do the sweeps arent up to it! Ive always had to go directly to the company to get them to push eprize into sending it out!!
LMAO I feel like we're having the Ford vs Chevy debate LMAO. I like Eprize, They went out of their way last year to contact me on that $500 gc from 21st Century. Their emails were going to spam and I was missing em. Then just before the deadline they emailed me two more times and luckily I finally noticed one and called at the last minute to get it. I thought they were very helpful. I'm thinking it's a case by case thing and how much the individual who works there happens to care. Kinda like the cable/satellite or cel phone Peggy's, Ya get a different answer from them everytime ya call. LMAO...btw 'Chevy'LMAO
