Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

Nope, nothing. I just re-read the affidavit that was emailed to me and it was short and sweet. (Because it was emailed to me, I had to pay to send it via FedEx; made me that much more appreciative of companies that send them via FedEx and include the pre-paid envelope; I'd taken that for granted, but I won't anymore. Oh and I'm not complaining - $30 something was a small price to pay for $4K.) This was from the Nordstrom Pinterest Wedding sweepstakes (I'd posted my win in the other thread - I only learned of this thread last week).

Don't think that only the Postal Service makes mistakes. UPS and FedEx do it too.

I know of four separate occasions in just the past few months that UPS or FedEx has delivered properly addressed packages to the wrong address on my little street of just a few houses.

I only started sweeping full-time in November and my first big win was from Pinterest; it was a nearly $1800 leather chair. Then last month I discovered that I'd actually won my first Pinterest contest in August of 2012....I just didn't find out about it until February of 2013. I have a hard time finding the winners list for the Pinterest contests......they aren't much for showing rules and all.

Oh yes, I know...I cringe when I learn anything is coming from FedEx; UPS isn't bad, because my driver knows me and has been able to spot a few times when the address was incorrect - only once did I receive a postcard in the mail that they were holding my package due to it missing an apt. number (I own a house, but the post office insists on calling it an apt. and because they call it an apt., they won't deliver to our doors unless the item requires a signature or is over-sized. Recently we had road construction near the mail boxes, so I had to drive daily to get my mail at the post office - had this not been designated an apt., they would have been delivering to my door and I wouldn't have had to make the trip.)

Very nice wins! I was surprised when I rec'd the envelope from FedEx that was just left on my porch with a $250 AmEx inside-surprise win! Scary!
