Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

The people that owned the house before you evidently REALLY liked to redecorate. That's no excuse for poor construction though.

My house was the model. I guess with the builder doing mass construction at that time the inspectors did not do their job. It was the wrong size lumber, not strong enough. the first floor had no pitch to drain so instead of redoing it right from the start, they then put a second floor with little shims on top of that floor. so now contractor has to rip off not only the fiberglass, but 2 floors and insulation. Adjuster was here. Said i have some coverage. Will be nervous to see how much and if at all because that was what the last adjuster said. he did not ask for a bill or estimate. Edit: thousands more now because he has to reframe. I sure hope i have some kinda coverage. Wonder how long before i know something. they are still working like crazy here, seems more home are being raised and more have been demolished. contractors all over.
