And so heartbroken for those who were injured, killed or had to witness the horrific scene.
As a kid I made pressure "bombs" in the back yard with Tropicana gallon OJ containers (since they were thicker plastic) mix in some acid like pool cleaner along with some strips of aluminum foil and shake...and throw...it will explode soon from the reaction. I stepped this up a notch and put in some nails one time in a wooded area to see its power. You'd really be surprised how much damage that small thing could do.
Now if someone did this exact similar thing but with a more robust container as stated with the metal crock pot and ball bearings/bb's as the shrapnel they could have had the circuit board control when the 2 parts were to be mixed together.
I can rationalize this as being probable by looking at the time difference between the two different explosions. Some would take longer to react and explode than others.
I really hope they find who did this and punish them to the fullest extent.

Seriously though.. more people trying to help than trying to be a bunch of bastards and for those that were helping, I'm grateful.

they reported that story wrong. if you look at the youtube video, marathon officials brought boxes of the jackets to give away. i thought they were looting too until it was reported, that it wasn't accurate.

Victims father said they need privacy. Then reporters were sniffing around the neighborhood for stories. These people are extremely annoying.
