At the time this was posted, it was already going around the interwebz and on news speculation that it would likely be a homegrown terrorist(s) who was young. From the type of blast it was, the smell and the smoke, they also knew that it was black powder, not complex explosives. This guy is using information and speculation to feed the paranoia of the public (especially right wing extremists) to try and stir something up and/or make it look like he "knows things" that the 'ordinary public' doesn't.
