Some people find that humor helps during tragic situations, even if it is in really bad taste.

No I wasn't thankfully. But I had quite a few friends that were running the marathon, and a few family that works in town. Luckily everyone got out ok. But some scary stuff. Frown

Were your friends near the time it happened, or were they at a good point behind to be diverted? Just glad they're safe. It could have been a lot worse if they didn't find those other un-detonated ones. hug

There's been a shooting at MIT. One campus guard was taken to the hospital with 'life threatening injuries'. The building/area is on lockdown.

Edit: They're reporting he has died of his injuries.
