Amazon closed my account

So my wife account on Amazon got closed due "continued to request refunds for a significant number of your orders." Basically we had a baby and she was buying and returning stuff, but still keeping a lot of stuff. But I guess they have there reasons, anyway my account which had the same amazon visa card (sharing rewards) also got closed due to being linked to this account. I had student prime and over all loved my account and had good standings. What can I do now ? From reading around I see that they are using the billing address and/or Credit card/Bank information to link accounts, not the delivery address. This really sucks !

Not 1000 bought and 1000 returned. Maybe like 25% returned from lets say 100 items over 2-3 months bought.
So we are talking about 25 returns out of 100 items? Depending on the cost of the item, they were probably paying more in shipping per item (since you said baby stuff - am assuming little toys, clothes etc) than the cost. Maybe that along with the high count per month triggered it? I have done under 20 returns, but thats over 4-5 years and I was concerned
Certain companies don't like to be treated like a rent a center. Stop buying and returning in excess.

Hello,
We've noticed that you've returned a significant number of your recent orders. In our experience, high rates of returns can indicate that customers are not happy with their Amazon shopping experience.
If there is anything that we can do to improve your experience on our site, please reply to this e-mail with your feedback. For technical assistance with your account, just click the Contact Us button on any Amazon.com Help page to reach our Customer Service team (www.amazon.com/help).
While we welcome returns when orders don't work out, we want to do whatever we can to ensure that you are happy with your Amazon shopping experience.
Thank you for choosing Amazon.com.

The problem is that I almost never return items to Amazon! In fact, I looked through my recent purchases and I only returned 2 items in the past year (besides the laptop). The other items were ipad cases and the value was less than 10 bucks. I gave them a call and replied to the email about it and nobody could give me a straight answer as to why I received the email. I spend at least $300 a month at Amazon and my return rate is less than 1%. That's why I believe this is based on the value of the item since the laptop was 1400 bucks. At this point, my account is still open but I feel like I will be treading lightly for a while.
Starting a new account is not going to help. They will close that one too. Any browsing or buying on your IP will make it they will close it. Any credit card used linked to your name etcetera will make it such that they will close the account. Amazon actually sells a book that explains how to set up a new account after you have been banned. It is not simple.

is this happen to anyone?
to the op post. If amazon ban you. you more likely not able to open a new account under your name with the same address, IP address or same computer that you used before. unless you use different IP, mailing address and different device where you will be accessing your amazon account. don't link the same bank account/visa/credit card that amazon had file on. you more like won't be able to open a new account with them.
Good luck yozh!
Really well IP I can change, the credit card I will open new on my name not hers... Only thing is the address
See above, I dont think so but ok... Not sure what abuse is.

Your new credit card is still linked to your account because of name, social security number etc. have someone buy that book for you. To open a new account you basically need a new identity.
