after some of the mods discussed, the awd thread is better served in hot deals. live awd deals go super fast and we want the community to catch it as they are posted. so how do we limit the off topic? by having this thread for users who made friends with each other and want to talk about other things. in my personal opinion, we were fair to both sides of users in the awd thread.
if you scroll thru lounge forum titles, you'll see we have other "chit chat" type threads and it has worked well. it keeps deals on topic and friends happy.

another person suggested playing the language-type music/tv show in the background loudly so as to gain good graces when on the phone with the foreign reps. real nutty stuff, but i did get a kick out of some of it.

the lounge is actually more relaxed. convos in here are light-hearted and rules are not as strict as they are in deals forums. even once in a while, mr. sd will come and say something that will make you lol.
