It tends to be the folks who can easily find jobs elsewhere who take these offers. Leaving you with the unemployable workers while all your talent leaves for new work with $5k (less taxes) in hand. Not a great financial idea for Amazon but seems to be a good PR move.LMAO

That article specifically said Amazon is offering its warehouse employees from the reports and pics we have seen it is basically a sweat shop; so essentially Amazon is retaining personnel for 5 years at which point they can make an extra 5k, talk about carrot and stick.

Oh amazon warehouse....I ordered this [amazon.com] last Thursday. This was the package fedex lost that was supposed to be delivered on like the 5th(last Saturday). Called Wednesday and said package never arrived, luckily they had one available in the warehouse same price same condition but the second one I ordered had no cosmetic damage. They 1 day'd it to me so it arrived here today. Came in tonight in perfect condition, but, it was this one [amazon.com]. Needless to say I was pretty mad/disappointed but luckily I got a nice American customer support person who gave me a brand new one for $66.60 since this would be the third one I ordered. Now I'm guaranteed no damage, hopefully the warehouse employees have some eyes this time and pick the right model. What's even worse was the model for the one I received was right on the top of the box 360B and they slapped a AWD tag of D360B on it Sadwalk.....
