Need help with my next TV series on Netflix/Amazon Prime

In the last year I've watched all episodes of:
Lost
Heroes
Firefly
Breaking Bad
Dexter
Jericho

and enjoyed all of them immensely. Can't seem to find anything else yet on Netflix or Amazon that would be as good as those shows are. Anyone care to throw out some recommendations based on my top tier shows above? Tried 4400 and another one that I had to quit on lately. Thanks!

I want to see House of Cards, but isn't there only one season so far? I hate having to wait for new seasons to show up. I watched Suits and Breaking Bad, only to have to wait until new episodes come out. Kind of took some steam out of the momentum.
Any recommendations for Friday Night Lights?

House of Cards season 2 came out yesterday. Last season of Breaking Bad in 9 days.

sad that the show is going into it's last season. but also happy the show gets to end on its own will and properly wrap up the series. happens very rarely in a cutthroat industry.

Yeah, I always have mixed feelings about that. Some shows just shouldn't drag out, while others you would definitely watch for longer.

We're watching Battlestar Galactica.

You might like Stargate SG-1 but be forewarned it doesn't have a nice, tidy ending as some of us may have liked. But a good story none the less.
